this happened to my xclio 450bl too. i just got a new PSU and chucked the xclio. i used my computer for a good couple weeks before i just got sick of the high pitched sound and replaced it. fortunately it didnt blow up or anything.

i have a stupid question about DDL... to use it, do i need special speakers or a receiver or something? or do i just need a sound card that supports it, and plug my 2.1 analog speaker setup into it?
