Only way this can work is if you have an toslink optical or an analog coaxial cable. I have the same setup minus the daughter board. Its a pretty cheap cable and you can get it at monoprice.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZfK6YkU9_E its a review of the monitor I found. It does show some good angles of the monitor. Plus regular use and gaming use.
My parents have an aging computer full tower too. Definetly would love to upgrade them to something smaller and more discrete. Would totally use it for their anniversary. I want it lol!
Black5lion knows whats up! Ya even a cheap 750, way better than integrated graphics. But the ya your right on the processor, especially if its moving into a file server later on. the 1246 V3 would do great!
Not sure why you need a server grade processor. Your fine with core i5 I rather put that extra bit of money towards a gpu even a cheap one then upgrade later. As for 4k gaming, I think you might be able to squeeze in a AMD 295x2 that probably the best you can do in that size case. Should more...
Your Lian Li case will not work with a regular power supply, you'll have to buy an sfx power supply. There's two versions by Silverstone one is modular one is not.
8g should be fine but 16g is best if your are doing any video encoding or large photopshop files.
you can run 4k on...
I went from a note II to a 6+, it's a change for sure, but I love the 6+. Super simple to use, and battery life is superb! I'm a heavy user and I can go all day without needing to charge it.
really its just 16.9 to 16:10, 3" difference and some resolution, it really depends now on what you want most, just preference thing at this point and ya cost, a 27" is about 650.
just get the 780 save the 250 for something else. And you can run the 30" using the displayport connection and the other two using the dvi connections.
I aint saying you cant run surround at that 1920x1080x3 but its not gonna be on high just medium settings- so you can do it on a 780. as for pc gaming, you can only run it on the 2560x1600 or one the other two monitors.
Reading this here are your options and my suggestions:
First and foremost if you get 3 x 23 surround your gonna need more than just one titan to run that as thats quite a bit of gpu power needed, to save money you could do 2 780's and overclock it a bit and its basically a titan without the...
@dan_D, I know that weather too well, I lived in ohio for year and i hate humidity. The only reason why I hate the heat is because my office is hot as hell lol during the summers and warm and toasty during the winters.
@ rtangwai
-40 degree is crazy cold! coldest I been in is -11 there is just no word for how cold that is, anyways you should take some more pics! especially how you setup your displays.
@ rtangwai

thats good info! the envy will be great for my gf and didnt realize that hp has the new models i knew that they came out but assumed that the gpu was just the 6850 not the 7000 series, either way since its rebadged dont see much increase on that. However, any coupon codes will be very helpful...
