Ok, I'm clearing out all the old stuff. Some of this stuff was gonna be built in to some kinda massive folding machine, but with another kid on the way, I don't see how the build is gonna ever happen. I do have an iMac that I need to get running for my daughter, but I need an OS.
It's all...

I've be tryin' to find a 20v AC adapter so that I can convert an old Apple 15" CRT from ADC to DVI, but I need 20v. I can only seem to find 18/24v switching ac adapters from the usual places (fry's, radioshack etc..) The only 20v I see are for laptops and those are way past my budget for this...
This is a repost from somewhere else, but I thought it was such a good post that I asked the author if I could put it in other places so that it could be seen by more people. I also thought that this would be some informative reading for those building their own PVRs. Take your time and read it...
I have a buncha old mobo combo laying around and I wanted to build a box to put them all in and start some folding. Would it be better to cluster them or to have them separate machines? Which will do more work?
We need a new RAID setup for my work and the boss doesn't want me to build one because of support issues and other crap etc.. etc..
We currently have a Raidweb IDE -> SCSI system, but we're running out of space and we want to switch to a SATA NAS so we can shift some of the load off of our...
The missus has an HP ZE4400 AMD XP2400+ laptop connecting wirelessly to our D-Link DI-614+ wireless router via a Linksys 802.11b PCMCIA card. The connection is HORRIBLE! The signal rating goes up and down and left and right. It drops out or just doesn't work. It originally connected via the...

If I make any changes on some web pages, my server doesn't show the updated files. It is caching the files somewhere and displaying those.
I can copy the whole dir to another dir and then put in that url and it will show different pages. Am I missing something? Yes, I emptied my browsers...

I just aquired an old Fiery rip that has an LCD with some buttons on the front of it. I wanted to get this to run my own stuff. The LCD is controlled by a PCI card. I've been unable to find any info about this system. It shows up under windows as a multimedia controller.

I'm a little skeptical. I remember that the last (only) S3 card I bought (circa '94) didn't live up to the claims the box said. What do you guys think?
I received a Container Store catalog in the mail today and saw this Galvanized Cube for $29.99. It's 14"x14"x14". I figured it would be a great alternative to a more expensive cube case. You can add a perforated or solid door for $11.99 or $9.74 (respectively). There is also a buncha accessories...
