Trust me it really worked mine was absolute horrendous like yours if not worst and after 2 weeks its almost no bleed at all which is wonderful. This was evident in my thread a while ago on this site. Has to be seen to believe.

Mine was worst than that when I first got it. a week use its almost perfect unless viewing it from extreme angle. I say give it a week unless there is a proble with return policy.

just wondering if the measured black depth of this monitor is better than the 2490?

each monitor is differnt and mine is 2490. sharpness is at between 35 to 40 in advance menu

try adjust sharpness control that did the trick for me to make the text looks sharp.
