Make sure that firefox is not blocking a pop-up window. With my school, when I log in through the webpage, it opens up a secondary page behind...that really only happens on my window/linux lappy...not on the mac laptop.
I don't think the battery is soldered to anything. After watching the video on revision3 of them taking apart a nano, the battery came out just fine.

Agreed. Now for my question. For the batteries off the internet...do you think it would be ok to get those for backup? I've heard stories of bad batteries doing bad things to macs.
From what I have heard, it is best to keep the battery activity high...that is to say...make sure to monthly deplete the charge and then recharge it. This keeps the battery cells active.
I guess the main idea is to keep the battery juice coming out and going in on a regular basis.

Have you tried:
Replacing the memory?
Removing all cards but the memory cards?
Only have essnetial componentry plugged into the mobo (HDD, video, memory)?
One thing to consider...if you ship by some carriers (UPS, Fedex, etc) insured...if the equipment is damaged they will pay for it.
So I think shipping it would be a better deal in the long run...and you could probably ship it overnight...arriving the same time when you land.
I'm not one to run on hype...and maybe this is hype. But, if industry leaders such as Microsoft, Intel, etc. actually implement palladium do you guys think you will buy systems which actually use it?

I made the jump a while back. It's funny. Most times you will probably be torn between using the PC and the Apple. I, myself, do that....but tend to use the apple more often than not. :rolleyes:
