I'd never make such a claim for a cheap item being stolen. Homeowner's insurance is not designed to be used to cover consumable items like laptops.
Oh, you'll get the claim paid, but you WILL pay more for that laptop rather than buying a new one. People seem to think insurance is somehow...
Amazon and eBay Seller Feedback.
Not really interested in any trades, I can't think of anything I need, but shoot me offers if you like.

Hopefully you're not serious. The whole "duct tape is good for everything" joke is not applicable when affixing expensive electronics to other expensive electronics.
Retina is not a scientific term. It means "impossible for the human eye to resolve individual pixels at normal viewing distance". FYI, the newest iPad is well under 300 dpi.
All reviews I've read so far claim the screen quality is exceptional. The same as upgrading to an iPhone 4/4S, or going from SDTV to HDTV. I can't wait.
I use Printopia and print from my iPhone and iPad without getting an AirPrint enabled printer. You can also print directly to Dropbox with a PDF. Free trial available, $20 for a license. Printopia rocks!
*no affiliation with Printopia besides being a satisfied customer*
Photo Stream is the most recent 1000 pictures you've taken, saved in the cloud. I think they also last only 30 days as well.
I'm enjoying Photo Stream so far, but I wish photos could be deleted. Either way, it's a very convenient service.
Doesn't it prove some kind of a point when there are hundreds of threads on message boards across the world with identical threads? It gives people something to talk about.
Also doesn't hurt for page views either. But what did you think was going to happen? The iPhone grow wings and fly out...
For the future, I'd install OS X on it and keep nothing on it, and just use it for updates. Probably the easiest way to update, as long as you are already set up for it.
Not sure what your issue is then. Size of library means nothing, or my library would have horrible performance. My library is well over a terabyte, and my performance isn't any worse than when I started out. I have an older iMac than you (2009 i7, 16GB ram), so machine speed isn't the issue...
How often do you shutdown and reboot your computer? I don't particularly care for the startup noise, and if there was an option to silence it I would do it, but is it really THAT annoying? I do agree that it seems like a simple thing that should be an option somewhere, but it's such an...
What about the previous shuffle? I really wanted it until I learned all controls were on the earphones. Screw that. The new shuffle looks good, but it's too small, I think the 2nd generation one was best, because it had a little space for you to grip it with your thumb and forefinger. The...
Funny, I've never spent a dollar on music or movies at the iTunes store, yet I've been using the Apple TV for a long time. Methinks you know not of what you speak.
Your phone was bricked due to iOS?
I've heard of tons of stories of Apple going the extra mile (when they didn't have to), and I've heard just as many stories of people getting told to go screw. I've had to use them once for an out-of-warranty iPhone (original) that was having reception...
So, the iMac is a great value, only when you choose to include the cost of the IPS panels (which the iMac has)? Why would you compare it against a computer that doesn't have an IPS screen? You are essentially saying "the iMac is a good deal, only when you compare it to machines that have...
Which is why I used "gain traction". Did I say they "started to sue" within the last few months? Reread if necessary.
I was asking if this was the start of a lawsuits-based success story about Apple. Again, reread.
So the valid patents win the case, no matter who owns them? Seems...
Huh? Apple's lawsuits have only started to gain traction within the last month or two. Is this the start of "Apple's success is due to lawsuits"?
Do you really think a company should sit back and allow its IP portfolio to be copied? If there was no merit to Apple's claims, the cases would...
Did they just happen to get lucky to win the ecosystem in a lottery, or did they carefully and methodically build it over many years? You make it sound like Apple didn't earn it. Surely you don't mean that, right?
It is very difficult to compete against brand image for sure, but when you...
The things you say make Apple successful should be pretty easy to copy. Up until this year, most technology companies were worth way more than Apple. How do you suppose nobody copied their model for success? Simply making something shiny and expensive is pretty easy, add a little marketing...
Trolls aren't even pretending not to be trolls. Referencing decades-old hardware and comparing spec-for-spec pick and choosing which spec to compare? Yawn.
Some of those Apple mice have really sucked.
The Apple TV is a great device, even if only used as a Netflix-only device. I use it a lot for Air Play, which is amazing. Apple TV for sure, unless you were already going to buy a Wii.
Oh yeah, Better Touch Tool. Customize the shit out of your trackpad, mouse, or keyboard. And it's free, but I highly suggest donating a few bucks, since it's great software.
I have no affiliation with the guy who writes it, other than I'm a huge fan of the software.
Me too, this is pretty much my list too. I don't care much for mplayerx, and I haven't checked out Sparrow yet, but the rest of this list is on my essential apps list.
I want to add Pixelmator, and Backblaze for unlimited backup.
Also, adding ram to the new Mac minis is trivial. macsales.com has great prices. I wouldn't have 16GB of ram in my iMac if it wasn't $150 :)
8GB (4GBx2) for the Mac mini is $85. Much better than the $300 Apple charges.
The new Mac minis have an i5 processor standard, i7 optional. Not too bad for a machine the size of a book, and also is essentially silent.
You could also replace ALL your machines with a shiny new iMac. It runs Linux and Windows natively. Great machines.
Your position seems to be minority. I've been reading a lot of Apple forums, and most people seem to be quite happy with it. What are the reasons you're not happy with it?
