I saw it this morning with my wife and daughters. It was a typical Marvel film, nothing that great, and certainly not terrible. I'd give it a B... Though Jackson as Nick Fury was pretty amusing.
Saw Aquaman about a week ago. About the same, or maybe just a bit worse (B or B-)
Actually that's built into Android now. Go to settings->Sounds and notifications->Do not Disturb->Allow Exceptions->Phone Calls and "Calls and messages from Contacts only"
The fan on my 5970 has started making hideously loud noises when oriented normally. (If I turn the case on the side so the fan isn't being pulled down by gravity, it works just fine) My card is out of warranty, so I can't RMA it.
Does anyone have any suggestions for either a new place to...
My wife got one of those 10% coupons, so she ordered this for me. Anyone know where to find the rebate form?
I just got the 3008WFP a week ago (before the 10% coupon arrived), and I can't wait to pair up my two new toys!
This 30% eBay deal is just incredible. We're normally quite...
The most important thing to consider is what you're going to be doing with the card... Web browsing? Photoshop? Games? If so, which ones, and at what resolutions? Without that information, it's really difficult to make a real recommendation.
If you're not getting the performance you want...
Barring nifty stickers they put on the cooler, yes.
Right now they're all reference boards. One swith custom cooling and other minor changes should be coming along in about a month, I'd guess.
I'd have to recommend the 4870x2 just for future proofing. At worst with it, you'll get 4870 performance, which is reasonably close to the 280GTX. At best, you'll crush the 280GTX. The difference between these two outcomes is largely driver dependent.
Games that are coming out in the near...
Yes, that's my only concern with trying out this 30" as well. Doublesight's return policy requiring 7 or more dead pixels seems harsh... I hope yours arrives perfect!
Yet another +1 for not worrying about the Physx support and just going with the 4870x2. Superb card for the resolution at which you play. It's a beast!
That's correct, it does. It's the only one of the major selling 30" brands to have this feature natively. Of course, you could always get a new monitor stand that has pivot and do the video flip with the driver...
I think my wife would make me buy two of them. She's quite the Starcraft nerd, even to the point of having a plastic model of a hydralisk on her desktop at AMD. (She's Hannah the Hydralisk.)
I'd agree completely. I've used drivers from ATI and Nvidia for many years now. Rarely have I had a problem with either one... But they've both messed up about the same amount.
If price is of little object, consider also the NEC 3090WQXI.

If price is a concern, wait a bit for Doublesight to release their 30", the DS-305W. They...
Books would work, or you could use some boards that would match your desk's color.
Heh, when I read the title, I thought it was "Rinse monitor". Sure got me to click on the thread... I wanted to see the results of the cleaning! :-)
I lack the post count to put this in the [H]Deals section...
Newegg has GIGABYTE Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card for $199.99 - $20 (with code VGA7320) - $30 Rebate = $149.99 with free shipping.

Input lag's effect on gameplay is highly subjective. What's intolerable for one person may be quite acceptable to another.
It's a 50% increase in lag from 20ms to 30ms, which is substantial, but 30ms may be small enough that it won't wreck your experience, especially given your love of a...
I'm looking forward to the release of this line as well. I'll be purchasing a 26" and a 30" for the boxes my wife and I are getting for Starcraft II and Fallout 3.
My concerns are similar to others...
1) Input lag increase?
2) Will either one have a scaler built in?
3) Finding a...
It sounds like a nice way to have to explain to your wife/girlfriend how your videocard hit 80 degrees Celcius in a game, ignited the Playboy pictures you glued to your videocard, and burned the house down last night.
I'd highly recommend you wait for the release of either the 9800GTX+ or the 4870. I think those should run most everything (sans Crysis, of course) nicely at 1920x1200.
I would think that sucking is much better...
Mel Brooks and the others were horrified when that got reversed, remember?
"What's wrong!?!"
"It's Megamaid! She's gone from suck to blow!"
Seriously though, it shouldn't make any difference which you do. As long as cooler air is moving...
