It's VGA, but some guys in that avs thread said it only maxes out to 1280 x 1024, but all you need to do is get a hdmi >DVI cable and it will output to 1920x1080
From what I've heard the panasonic is the panel to get. Best black levels, and best looking picture. Check out this thread. There is a lot of good info in it.
