My Nautilus gives me idle temps of 36 - 38c and load temps of 48 - 50c with a 50% overclock from 2.4 to 3.6. I opened up the Naut case and stuck Acasa acoustic padding all over the inside and its damn near silent.

After updating the bios I couldn't get through 3dMark06 on the rig in my sig. Before "upgrading" to F8 my machine was rock solid at 3.6GHz (9x400 w/1.4625 v-core bump). Back to F7 and everything is fine. If it ain't broke.........

I went with the setup in my sig. As I'm only a casual gamer I didn't need to pay for a 2nd PCIe slot, but I like to dabble in overclocking so the Gigabyte board seemed like the best way to go for me.
There's no mail in rebate option for the memory on the Newegg website.
