I got my Samsung XL2370 for Christmas and love it. I've only ever used Tns but this is great for me as a pretty heavy gamer. Just yesterday a friend of mine got one after hearing me rave about it for weeks and theirs has the model XL2370-1 on the box instead of plain XL2370. I looked up on...
Hey everyone, after waiting a long time I got the Samsung XL2370 for my Christmas present. I have to say compared to the previous tn panels I've owned this display is perfect. 100% uniformity, no backlight bleed at all, vibrant colors and deep blacks, the only real downside is of course the...
I put up some copies of Win 7 for sale last night and I came home to find my thread/pms deleted and I am locked out of the forum. What gives? Some kind of explanation would be nice at least.
My heat is here http://www.heatware.com/eval_directory.php I have sold software before w/out issue.
I am desperately trying to pull the trigger on a new lcd. I don't have a lot lot of money so I'll probably be getting one of the inexpensive Asus screens as this will primarily be used for gaming. One thing that is making my decision more difficult is there are 3 sizes 23, 23.6, and 24 that...
I'm in the market for a new lcd after being without one for a couple of years. I sort of gave up looking after going through the great Samsung panel fiasco with the 226BW and later models. From what I've been reading as far as TN panels go even the real inexpensive ones are pretty decent as...
I'm getting ready to help a friend make a new pc. Which of these boards is the best? My last couple systems have used Gigabyte boards but I saw an Asus one recommended here in the builds thread. It doesn't have many reviews though compared to the others I am looking at. These are in the top of...
I am selling my beloved A-Data Extreme Edition Ram and moving to a 4 GB (2 X 2GB) set of the same thing and Vista 64. This is one of the fastest DDR2 800 sets available. They are at least equal to Crucial Ballistix (or faster) without the high failure rate. This will be a great buy for...
All prices are including shipping. I have both heat and ebay feedback under j0j081. I will reply to your pm within half a day at the most. I will possibly ship outside of the USA to Canada and a few other locations.
DVD box sets (mint condition, no scratches, markups, etc)

I know a lot of people were waiting for this lcd. Looks like a retail store finally got them in. I wonder how it compares to the Samsung 2253BW. We need reviews of all these new lcds...
Is there any point to installing the lcd monitor driver if all your resolutions are being detected correctly anyway? I know sometimes they are bundled with color profiles but I prefer the default Vista profile for that.
According to lesnumeriques.com you are now able to determine if your 226bw or 2232bw has a Samsung panel based on the serial number (which is printed on the boxes label)! Here is the English translation on how to do so.
"-- A serial number greater than or equal to P718xxx (known exceptions...
Just spotted the 2253BW on Samsung's website.
http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/detail/spec.do?group=computersperipherals&type=monitors&subtype=lcd&model_cd=LS22AQWJFV/XAA&fullspec=F
It looks kind of like the 226bw but has a new 8000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (1000:1 actual, opposed to...
Are these Crucial Ballistix safe to get? Seems like everywhere I go people are complaining about them failing. I don't plan on ocing them alot but might a little. This is kind of driving me nuts I hate paying for things that break right away...
Just found this by looking for mobos with the new 770 chipset at AMD's site then using google shopping.

Looks like a nice price if you don't need more than one gpu...
What would be the better choice for a friend's who wants to upgrade his am2 pc from a low end Athlon X2? Obviously the 6400 is way faster stock but the 5000 is pretty much garuanteed to oc to at least 3 ghz. I don't think the difference in price matters to him more just which is the smarter...
Looks like they lowered the price of the 6400+ Black Edition to account for the new 6400+ Retail ed which includes a heatsink and fan. That means you can buy the Black Edition and add a $30 fan better than the one that comes with the retail versoin and they would come out to the same price...
I'm thinking about getting a 6400+ or maybe the 6000+ since it includes a cooler and want to buy it with a board that will work good with Phenom once better models come out next year. Are there any boards currently out that are safe bets? I don't see too many around.
I'm wondering whether to bother trying to fix this stuck pixel on my 206bw. It's not that annoying but pretty easily visible on a white background. It seems to be stuck on the color red but it doesn't show on black so I guess it could be dead but not sure why it looks red on white then...
My new Samsung 206bw just arrived. This is my 2nd one I'm giving the first to my gf because she's been wanting a widescreen ever since working on mine occasionally. First thing I did was take the case apart to check what panel it came with. It has a M201EW02 by AUO. My other one had a...
Anyone know what panel(s) the Samsung 2232BW uses? I saw one in Best Buy today and I liked it more than I thought I would. The display model looked really good compared to the LGs and viewsonics they had by it. Thanks.
With my new Samsung 206BW, got my old one exchanged from the factory because of a couple dead pixels RTA stays off after recycling the power. Before people were getting annoyed because they had to keep fixing it in the menu so guess they update the firmware or something. The color settings for...
Just FYI all the new from factory Samsung 206BWs seem to be coming with Chunghwa panels now. They have the info on the back removed and the hidden service menu isn't there anymore either but I've taken a few apart to see. To there credit I have one at my house setup side by side with a 931BW S...
What is better for keeping your new LCD in tip top shape? Leaving it on unless you are going to be afk for more than a 2 - 3 hours OR turning it off whenever not really in use? Also, is it bad to turn the display on for just a few seconds to check something then back off before it has warmed...
