Basically the same as the old version, but with a much prettier interface. Also, looks like they added the ability to upgrade the firmware through the toolbox now.
There's a great article on Techreport on the micro-stutter phenomenon.

And describes a metric that could be used to quantify it (99th percentile frame time). We all know FPS hardly captures the whole picture, so seems another metric like this could...
Yes, this is not a hot deal, but given availability, seems like those who want it should jump asap.

This may just be the way things always were, but I recently tried a speaker test using the windows 7 sound panel, and also the creative x-fi control panel speaker test, in both cases, my sub doesn't seem to respond.
However, I tried playing some music and movies, and my sub is definitely...

Every review I've seen of Bigfoot NIC's say it's completely unnecessary unless you have more money than you know what to do with. Now they've come out with this with Visiontek, and on a mid-range 5770 no less. How are these guys staying in business...
Have these finally made it into the US? Been over 6 months since it's been available in Europe.

My current setup has a 360 rad mounted on top of a corsair obsidian 800D, and a three Gentle Typhoons (1450 rpm) in push config.
Even undervolting the fans to 800 rpm, I still get some annoying noise coming from the top grill. I think the cause is twofold:
The air being pushed through...
I just got a logitech z-5500 set, and trying to figure out a way to mount the center speaker on top of my monitor (Dell 3008 WFP). I first tried using velcro across the top, but the monitor's bezel is just not wide enough, and the feet for the center channel are positioned perpendicular to the...
Ever since I upgraded to Firefox 3.6, I get this error message whenever I try to post something.
However, if I hit the back button, then submit the post again, it goes through fine.

This is brand new board. Everything works fine except that the EL/backplate LED does not light up blue. I've plugged the connector into the EL_CON connector on the board, and I made sure that the LED was enabled in the bios. Still nothing.
Any ideas what I'm missing or is this prone to happen?

Owners of the Dell 3008wfp, I just got this monitor and while it has amazing quality and picture, I seem to be getting a high frequency whine buzz coming from the back of the display. It's fairly faint, but noticeable since my room is very quiet and I'm very sensitive to high frequency sounds...
If you're tired of waiting for those damn Intel drives to be in stock and sell for actual MSRP, Microcenter has some really good deals on the OCZ Vertex (after MIR) - I think in-store only . Use MC Customer Rewards for another 5% off to help with the tax hit.

Anyone know where to buy plastic pin housings (the like ones used for motherboard connectors and audio/usb headers)? I'm looking for the single pin and double pin variety. My local Fry's only carries the 5 pin variety grrr.
Anyone know where to find one of these? I have one of the crappy dell workstations that only supports low profile cards, but I'd like to drive 2 monitors without using onboard vga.
Anyone have any experience with this new psu? It just came out, and the only thing I could find was a lame/unreliable review by xsreviews. How does it compare in terms of stability and silence to the ZM850/ZM1000? Seems like they improved it with a power switch finally and more modular cables...
