I too have an i7 920 on an EVGA X58 classified, all water cooled and running reliably at 4.1 - 4.2GHz without issue with 12GB RAM and tri-SLI GTX 580s. Debating on upgrading. Leaning toward not worth it though.

Does anyone make a laptop with a serial port these days? Toughbooks are outside of my budget but if I could find a laptop with a serial port for like $350 - $550 I would LOVE it. Anything out there?

Good read! I too joined the 30" club with the LG W3000H! Upgraded from a 22" Dell widescreen LCD - this is MUCH nicer. The colors are beautiful and the clarity....... cant even explain!
