do you mean illegal as breaking the law or illegal as in against the TOS?
in either case i dont think the police or microsoft are going to raid anyone's house to enforce this

i think that is just 2 of the many different cpu/gpu combos they could implement, i think this slide explains it a little better http://www.anandtech.com/Gallery/Album/3392#1
they also have the 4670k for $209 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CO8TBOW/ref=s9_al_bw_g147_i3?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-4&pf_rd_r=0Q8NTPKKRKFGFQ3S33M3&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1720670722&pf_rd_i=565132
while it seems like you are at the same place you were before, but if you gobbed a lot of thermal paste on there you are doing it wrong, thermal paste is supposed to be spread thin
not a bad price for upgrading your old router, but uhh, i dont get how upgrading and using an older system for your wired/wireless router segues into wishing amd could compete with intels offerings
i mean i wish they did too, but as it stands i am still using an unlocked X3 720, whatever i...
im assuming you were using a stock HSF, if so which one was it the heat pipe versions or just a aluminum one? that could explain why the temps spiked so fast,
but even so not taxing your system that does seem like a big jump in temps... how clean is your current HSF and what is your case...
pretty much you dont have the gpu muscle to push the frames you want at the settings you are using
either drop the graphic settings down to where you achieve the FPS you desire or get a more powerful card
go to the For Sale/For Trade forum and on the upper right of the screen you will see "Search this forum"... click on that and a box will open
click the "advanced search" on the bottom of the box
in the advanced search window on the right you will see a text box that says search by user name...
he is running a tight SFF case, i dont think a tower cooler (even one of the smaller ones) is going to work in his situation
i think you are on the right track of thinking of a different cooling solution as well, i dont think you will accomplish much by going to dual graphics solution as it...
do you have the .NET Framework installed... i used to run into this problem when i would setup a new computer and would install the Catalyst package before doing any windows updates...i would always get a problem with CCC until i had everything updated
2 boards i have and would recommend because they are rock solid boards (not selling though because they are in active systems ;) ) are the
ASUS M4A79 Deluxe http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4A79_Deluxe/
and the MSI K9A2 Platinum http://us.msi.com/product/mb/K9A2-Platinum.html
per the rules
(26) PRICE CHECKS are not allowed anywhere on the forums with the exception of the subscribed access General Mayhem forum.
but i guess you know that since you posted the same thing in the FS/FT forum lol
lol i think you mean Twin Frozr
to the OP unless you are going to upgrade your monitor to a higher resolution anytime soon, i dont see a point in upgrading your card right now
here is an x6
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1724262&CatId=4432
and even if you dont have to save up to get a new system you will only be getting marginal gains
i dont know when you plan on upgrading to a new system, im just saying that instead...
the benefit wouldnt justify the cost imo, if you are going to go all out on a cpu upgrade id go for at least a x6 (if your mobo can take one), but really id just save up for a system upgrade
its hard to say if you should RMA it or not, it looks like the same thing my tv does every now and then, granted mine is a hanspree brand tv, and it is fixed in the same fashion as yours too.
but i will say i have not been pleased with my one samsung warranty service experience i have had in...
true, that didnt necessarily cross my mind, but then i also would think that the question being asked here would be along the lines of "why am i not getting points in WCG even though i am doing a lot of wu's?"
but even so OP make sure you are getting credit for your wu's under result status...
i cant really say as i dont understand completely how things work, but i have noticed the same thing. my 6850 is highly overclocked and even as i keep an eye on the the 5650 in my laptop they both dont generate the same amount of heat in WCG as they do in games even though they are being used at...
you beat me to it, but you are absolutely correct, als0 that is nearly identical to my 6850's output
OP depending on settings, if you have ever tried using that computer when it is crunching a GPU unit it will be very sluggish
yeah i was thinking the same there for a second but he says they even switched monitors to see if that was the difference
if you did all that something is up it would see.... just asking for clarification, are you running the same video setting on both computers right? (AA, AF, etc)
also...
