UPDATE Well after countless hours of pounding(with a 12lb. maul) lubing with KY jelly and thrusting of a Motherboard i have found my issue which appears to be a bum 7800gtx it does not like having dual displays enabled. It causes lock ups, random reboots and what not so i disabled one display...

yes different folders both have machine ID set correctly and its the Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista "No nonsense" text-only console. what gets me is my AMD 3800X2 did this just fine running both cores but this intel sucks sofar.

i have the same problem. the geeksquad software looks just like cyberpowers powerpanel plus but is severly crippled(only displays time left no voltagaes) comepare to cyberpowers.

yes i clean out the old before a new driver install. what would cause the card to think its 2d when im in a 3d app? nothing is running when i launch BF2 straight off a reboot. yes it hits the disk to load lvls not a lot once a map is loaded. i know 2 gigs helps but that is not in the budget...

yes the task manager does that but im looking for one that will set affinity automatically everytime the program starts and/or restarts one of its processes (ie folding@home. the client keeps running but the cores stop and start{and change to another folding core} and everytime a new unit starts...

I do not want to have to sit infront of my pc and constantly set affinity that is Y i asked for a program that would set affinity to either core of my choosing. oh well guess im out of luck

I was not using folding as my stablity test. i ran 2 instances of prime95 for that. with much success:) simply setting folding as machine id# if fine and dandy BUT everytime a core starts and stops it is set to run affinity CPU 0 and CPU 1 and if you watch the task manager you can see it...

So who makes the best card? The eVGA and XFX are clocked @490/1300 compared to the BFG's 460/1300 and i can get the XFX for $530 compared to the eVGA's $580 and BFG's $560ish now eVGA and BFG have lifetime warranties compared to the XFX's 2 year but ill upgrade in 2 per my normal cycle...
