did you see my edit? tested at factory in June 2001, so not 4 years old yet.
pic:
the center piece is a piece with adhesive on the back that can stick in there, but I didn't actually have it on there, so it's completely removeable, etc...this also means that it's not scratched at all...
which one? the rockford fosgate amp or the clarion?
clarion amp is roughly 6 years old, but was used for less than a year before I got a deal on the rockford and installed it...the rockford is probably 5 years old and was used the entire 5 years.
will take pics of both and post them

hey, I'm currently at home for Christmas Break, but should be back on campus temporarily sometime near January 8th and then sometime near the 15th for the start of the new semester.
just drop me a line when/if you have a new version for me to host...heck, if this gets easy enough, I may even...
same way any batch script works, be it dos or unix.
I'd have to sit down and look at it (don't have time right now, have to wrap presents)
but basically you'd do something like
fah502.exe < install.dat
and install.dat would have username, team number, assorted config options (such as 'y'...
why don't you just write a DOS batch file that runs the installer and pipes in the correct letters/words at the correct time?
all you'd have to do is run through it once and write down the proper responses essentially...
well, the more ghz, the more folding power, the more wu completed (hopefully), the more points we get (hopefully)*
dual processors will count as two if you install two instances of folding on them, setting one to machine id 1, the other to 2, then basically, one will fold on one processor and...

If you need integrated graphics with them, and can overclock, I'd probably suggest something like the abit nf-7m or something (~90) with an athlon xp mobile 2500+ (~85). But, I haven't priced components all that much lately...
no problems, I understand the desire for the sourceforge, just thought I'd offer the hosting since I have it and it's free.
Feel free to pm me about it even if you just need a temporary mirror or something.
It's not so much a contest as it is a lottery or give away.
You don't "win" it other than being the random one chosen. What he did was split it up, one category basically to help entice new folders to join and to reward those of us that have started "more recently", and a second category to...
I think they said somewhere that bandwidth for FAH in one day was like opening something like cnn.com once or something.
Anyway, that should be at least order of magnitude correct. Point is, it's not something at all noticeable.
if you're using the text only version, the newest version out, 5.02 I think has an option for installing as a service, eliminating the need for all of that.
