Its quite simple really, PC gaming market has shifted to cross platform targets, consoles are the main technical benchmarks right now. Game publishers get a lot of bang for their buck out of releasing a blockbuster game on all platforms. With an average console lifespan of about 5 to 6 years, I...
Its quite interesting to watch as industry oversaturates the market with yet another product.
260 280 285 295 460 465 470 480 560 570 580 plus all the variations
and even worse on AMD front with card names and prices jumbled up in one big orgy of somewhat
similar yet a little different...
They are all essentially just copies of their competitors. The memory chips and controller chips are all most likely been made at the same factory.
After doing the research, I just went for the cheaper A-Data drive, which turned out to be the same as vertex2 or force series in terms of...
Trust me, devs dont rush if they are not being rushed.
Bad projects carry on due to poor research/management and survival instinct, dont bite the hand that feeds.
Sorry what I meant was a case like that, but a bit longer and a bit taller to have enough room to fit the hardware.
Izza: partially yes aesthetics as well, I mean a steel case with plastic front and a whole load of sharp edges just does not float my boat.
Why cant they take the same U shaped...
ISK300... thats awesome, but Im talking about a case like this:
http://www.origenae.co.kr/en/htpc_m10.htm
But the one Im looking for would be a little longer, a little higher, just enough to fit the 5850 and 450watt silverstone power supply
To me itx is not a fetish towards a slightly smaller...
It seems that all of the manufacturers are after extremes. On one hand we have 90-150 watt intel atom / via or C2Duo/i3~ home theater systems, and on the other side we have itx cases that can take pretty much any power supply, are overly large, and made out of steel and plastic, thus defying the...
Props to Steve for staying classy, the guy with a phone does sound like he needs a RL check tbh, every apple product and ALL 3 iphones? It is just a phone :)
I grew up in Russia, and lived there untill I was 16. We moved to Canada around 2000, at that point I was almost done with high school ( we have 10 grades, 1-3 pre and 5-11 senior ) but got stuck spending another 2 years in Canadian school due to lacking few credits.
Now, I dont want to bash...
I would think that anyone smart enough to consider an SSD at this point wouldnt be loading so much crap at the same time on a boot up. I dont know about other people, but personally my boot is as minimal as possible. Real test would be loading up a photoshop while copying a bunch of files/...
I'm basically looking for a brushed aluminum, all aluminum frame, not black no nonsense SFF itx portable powerhouse. Looks like SG07 will be quite a while away, with questionable looks at that. DFI 55 860 i7 and 5850 seems like an ideal combo right now, with almost no possible enclosures on the...
Is it possible to have it just pure brushed aluminum ( not black ) with no side acrylic? ( basically skipping few manufacturing steps ) or do you guys have no direct control over the production cycle?
That's got to be the most pointless and absurd waste of material at the show, but it certainly does express TT's approach to things, makem big pointless and shiny. I bet each compartment has one of those amazing 6" 5k rpm fans.
920@ 3.6Ghz at 1.22 vcore 1.55 ddr running 20x180 1440~ ram
Biostar Tpower 58x Noctua NHU 12-P. Can run 4 at 1.32 vcore, but not really in any need of such power hungry cpu.
36 idle
65 load
If you have a SLI setup, take out one of the HDD cages, that should improve the GPU cooling a tonn. You can also remove all of the cages, buy one 5-3 converter and slap all your drives there.
Well , its quite cheesy to say the least , plus latest 939 pin AMD's generate not a whole less heat than the prescots. And this is not coming from an intel fan.
Cheers.
