Well those temps seam in line with other water coolers..And honestly A self made Xeon 1u 350 gram copper heat sink with a "modest" fan would cool as well ... Your results seam a lot different then the other 2 I have seen. . :confused:

I think a few issues can be cleared up,The forged pin fin array is utilized because it was origionally manufactured as a heat sink for air cooling,,And it has been used by Stasis thermal by soldereing it to a copper plate for the pourpose of this water block. I would like to see reseller...

If you want cooler temps remove as many 90 degree fittings Y fittings and T fittings.Flow is the key to low temps and those fittings cut the flow in a huge way....

That sounds for sure like a drive problem.Run a disk diag on the drive. Hard disks can often need several continous reboots to raise there temp which will make a weak disk boot. Are there any clicking noises at all..
