I have a late 2007 Macbook White, but I accidentally spilled water on the keyboard and now when I type e, r, t, y, u, o, q, w.... this happens... q1w2e3r4t5y6u7o9.. Also, the left arrow key, semi-colon key, and apostrophe key do not work.
The battery life is at about 60% capacity (3030mAh)...
Hi, my friend's macbook is running a little slowly and I'd like to help her reformat it. She doesn't have her original DVDs. Can I use mine on her macbook to reformat? Also, if that works, can I also install my Snow Leopard onto hers?
Thanks!
I have a Westinghouse LCD monitor, 22". It is roughly two and a half years old.
The monitor works perfectly throughout the day, or if I leave the house for just a couple hours and come back. But, I've noticed that in the past week or so, after leaving the computer on (the monitor is turned...
I *do* have the extra $100 to spare, so I was leaning towards the HD4870. Seems like a good choice to me. Hell, this current setup is under $1000 total, which is under the budget.
Budget is around 1000 dollars, and this comes to around 1050.

You know what, that is a little odd to me as well.
I plug in the power chord to the PSU and then I hit the PSU power switch and everything turns on. Could it be a PSU problem then?
And on another note, I tried using the connectors from another case, and that didn't work either.
So, I after doing some troubleshooting with my friend, we thought that it was the motherboard that wasn't working. I RMAd it and received it today. I put together my computer again, but.... again I came to the same problem: Everything turned on, cpu, fans, psu etc. But, the power button on the...
I generally leave my computer on 24/7 and when I returned from school, my computer was off. I checked the power switch on the back of the computer and it was on. Despite this, the front power button does not turn the computer on. However, after turning the back power switch off and then on...
I am going on a long two week road trip later this summer and wanted to get one of those car adapters, but I wasn't sure what continuous/max voltage I should purchase. Well, actually I want to use two at the same time, since my brother is there as well.
Mine has an AMD 3200+, some crummy...
I was looking at headphones and came across these. Does anyone know anything about them? Are they good? They look to be of a high quality, but I wasn't entirely sure.
He said that he already checked the BIOS boot order. He said that it is set on the correct drive. He also said that he tried the other devices, just to be sure.
My friend said that whenever he tries to boot up Vista, he gets the following error:
"BOOTMGR IS MISSING
PRESS CTRL-ALT-DELETE TO RESTART"
He said that he deleted the partition on which Vista was installed, created a new one, and then installed Vista again on that. But, again, this error...
On my father's computer, whenever you try to login to *any* account (other than administrator in safe mode), it shows the desktop wallpaper for a few seconds, then automatically logs you back off. Is there any fix to this? Or is a reformat inevitable?
I'm using onboard sound with an M2N-E AM2 motherboad - the HD audio one which uses one slot, not the individual audio plug-ins that take ages to install. Is there any reason as to why Fraps, or any other software cannot record audio coming from the PC itself? I've tried setting it to microphone...
Finally got it to work. When the windows loading screen appeared, I just shut off the computer and it let me go into safe mode when I turned it back on.
Hi, I was checking to see how high my monitors resolution could go to, and I accidentally went too high. It boots up, I can see the bios and everything, but once windows loads I can't see a thing. How do I fix this? By the way I'm using an ASUS M2N-E Board, when I try to boot in safe mode, with...
I get the following error message, RMA needed?:
Memory Error detected for ward pair # 87760633, values 205219626, 2713911032 do not match.
EDIT: I got another error: # 36813872, values 3055932270, 3794213710 do not match.
Got a third error message.
EDIT: Well, I'm sending it back...
I'll try memtest really soon. I first tried out Oblivion, and no crashes occured. That was with one stick. Then swapped with the other stick. Finally, with both sticks. No crashes. The thing is, everytime I restart, it gets the long beep, short short beep. But, when I shut it down, and turn it...
Me and my friend just built my new PC. The only problem is, sometimes, when restarting the computer (or after changing the bios), I get the following: A long beep, followed by silence, and then quickly two short beeps. (- . . )
It seems like this is a problem with the RAM. We've tried...

I just got my confirmation from mwave.com, they better not backorder it, and ship it as soon as possible. I'd be pissed if I had to wait until next week when a little more patience could have landed me the same thing for the same price at newegg.
From what I've heard yes. I just bought my processor, and received an email from them. They still haven't approved / shipped the product though (While newegg already approved my zalman heatsink).
