My reason for posting it here is this forum has viewers that would most likely have use for these domains. If an Op sees the need they can move it into the FS:FT forum. But I would rather have it here.
Usually the person who takes a domain has to handle the transfer fees since domain registrars have a fee for that. Its usually $15 or so.
Its free from me since I'm not seeing any of that money.
They are, modtuts.com and desmods.com
short and sweet. for any of those who wish to start their own tutorial or personal website.
desmods.com was going to be my mod showcase, but since Ive stopped modding I don't need it anymore.
You would have to handle all transferring fees.
I work with someone that does this he, uses your third option where everything is one one database and with only one application directory.
It probably would be best performance wise to have everything sharing the same resource then multiple hard to update instances.
All I see you would need...
I quickly looked at your source and see you are using png images.
Png images in different browsers render at different bit levels or some other major BS ( and then the perceived color changes ). so its best to stick to jpg/gif unless you need transparency.
Add a width of 93.6% to ul.tablayout. what seems to be happening is the ul is inheriting some left padding from somewhere which is adding to the full width of the ul box making it seam pushed off screen.
I bought two domains a long time ago but didn't have time to develop them so I figure I would offer them up to anyone who wants them. I would prefer if they aren't used as parked domains, thanks.
They are:
modtuts.com - A nice modding tutorial website maybe? :)
and
desmods.com - was...
Cardboard painted whatever color the external part of the case the hole sits on, then hot glue it in place.
Or you could use a piece of lexan or metal cut it to the proper size to cover the hole, drill holes for mounting it to the existent fan screw holes. Then either tap the holes and use...
Nice and clean, quite and improvement over the original. How effective do you think your vibration dampening attempt will be? Or if you have already tried running the fans how effective was it?
You ask a lot of hypothetical questions these days Qtip.... :P
I would probably buy a couple machining tools, like some mills lathes and some CNC machines, and design and build a custom case that is very slim and has two built in wide screen LCD screens that fold out and have it all the size...
One-Zero I hope you never live this down. Being the one and only cause to the delay in the production must really have an effect on your confidence. Please don't let us down in the future again.:D
All jesting aside make sure you don't accidentally leave the case to dry around the...
The problem is if you spend so much on bling, you probably have none left over for the actual components.
Also I find the whole culture centering around blinging stuff out to be quite.... Retarded might be the word.
Of course if you are being serious in a hypothetical kinda way it might...
Don't worry about the mods moving this over to the work log, this forum is mainly full of people asking initial questions, so no need to worry.
If you are into making your own circuits, you could make your own continuity switch. ( a touch switch ) You might be able to find plans online for...
If you do it correctly you shouldn't mess up any of the voltages, but be sure to check the rails for their proper voltages before putting it back in a system.
As I see it you could either create a modular power supply, or just unsolder the lines you arn't going to use and shorten any other...
Nooooooooooooooooooooo.... remember what I told you of the dark side!! once you turn, you can never go back!
Otherwise it looks like its going to be quite big :D
I understand stealthing the motherboard makes everything look spic and span. However don't some chips/mosfets/misc electronics need a little passive breeze? For instance if there is stagnant air some areas can get quite hot. If you are just going to cut holes close to the existing heat sinks, it...
I beleive I understand you problem, as I hav ehad it before. You can just take off the restraining bracket that is on the video card by unscrewing the video plug standoffs and any other screws attached to teh card and just cut/grind/dremel off the pronged edge. That should would. but if its the...
Requesting pictures of such atrocities!! I thought you knew better Q-tip!
Anyways goog job on the case.
It would be cool to hide a small microphone in the front and connect it to mic-in, so you can act like you are really using it as a mic while using skype or w/e. :D
Looks like your concept is off to a great start. Looking forward to seeing how its going to turn out!
I really like the wax seals with the pieces of parchment.
and props to a fellow 3D modeller :D
top notch.
The only gripe I have is towards the round fan shrouds you make. they just seam quite bulky to me. Especially on the recent server case you made.
I guess they still look good :D
What surprise seeing this bumped :P
Anyways sorry for not posting any updates. After the essentials where installed I started using it again and didn't feel like taking it all apart.
Due to your kind bumpage, I'll finish the paint and what not tomorrow. ( I might even post a video. :o as...
Use thin tape down insulation commonly used in air conditioner and window installations,
apply it to the edges where the case meets the panel.
I used this on my drill press cover as it was rattling also :D

I have been having trouble getting a low res high-def signal to dis8play properly on a crappy HDTV. I believe the res of the TV is 540p, whereas it was advertised with up-scaling everything to 1080i, of course that was BS.
the problem I'm having is when I connect the composite out cables from...
I know this feeling too well. :P
The stand looks great, did you redo it with the inwards cuts? Or just grind down all the welds?
Because I cant tell the difference :D (you don't have to answer that)
Yeah like I had stated they are there for future expansion. They also serve as a means in which to intimidate people at a lan party. Not many people can boast about revving their computer fans. Vrooooom VROOOoooom.
Right now I have the fans at 7v with them adjusted to a low speed, They...
Mohonri: I plan up upgrading the system when I get new components, those huge fans are there to cool whatever monstrous amount of heat the new system will put out. (who knows it might not be much heat) Also the fans aren't that loud on their lowest speeds, and in fact I get more airflow verses...
An update of sorts. Note: I'm gonna sleeve as many wires as I can later, I just wanted to get everything together so I could use my PC again.
(I'm on it now)
And all those who like to see the latest most fast hardware being installed in mods, turn away now you have been warned.
(I don't...
You need some comments up in here!
Looks great so far, I really like the look of the motherboard tray screws, where did you get them?
Also with the two 250 gigerz being somewhat far apart are you just going to use rounded cabling or fold a flat IDE cable under the motherboard mounts? I...
Another paint design idea.
I dont like the things on the sides, but I have to come up with something as there is a scratch on the side I want to cover.
