    is Yahoo semi down?

    I am having trouble reaching yahoo pages like Finance, News, Movies, etc... it seems to show up sometimes. Yahoo is the only site I am having trouble accessing. It seems they do have a new layout in place.

    AMD counts high-end graphics chips in its lineup after the acquisition of ATI, and that helped results in the quarter. The launch of new chips helped it post a 55 percent increase in graphics sales compared to the second quarter. Sales of quad-core chips for servers were up 46 percent.

    Best non-reference 4850.

    The MSI looks like a really good cooling card. All of these seems like really good choices: MSI, Powercolor, or Gigabyte they all have good reviews, quiet, and good temps. The Palit sonic is a little bit too expensive. HIS ICEQ4 if you want to pay a premium is also a good option

    I remember reading that the 4850 1GB doesn't improve much and actually can perform worse but the 4870 1GB has better FPS, especially on higher res.
