Most legit studies show that games have a short term effect on people releasing endorphins which typically wears off after about 30 minutes, basically the same effect as playing any given competitive sport etc...
Just another way for people to shift blame ultimately, "it can't be me/my child...
I’ve been in the beta for a couple of months now and I’ve got to say I’m digging it, world is very immersive, characters deeper than expected; and voice acting really lends to the world as a whole. I’m digging it so far and am happily awaiting full release and delivery...
I'll go with fail on the grounds that you are supposed to keep the freshly tattooed area sterile and I’m willing to bet that an iphone that has been sitting in the artists pocket doesn’t quite fall into that category...
In for 1...
As far as how it looks, as long as the twin fans don't add to much to the noise factor and actually improve cooling I'm all for it. Great advertising idea behind the etching of the MSI logo into the heat vents on the back, are there LED's in the card to project the name?
Fiber won't be part of Frontier's plan for very long...they are pricing it out of range for people so they'll drop it and they'll no longer need to support it. a quote from the CEO was something to the effect of "people don't need faster internet than what DSL/Copper can provide"... (I'm...
I've been playing around with it for a bit; I'm enjoying it so far but then again I enjoyed CoH/CoV etc... Something about virtually 'living' the comic book thing.
From what I've played it's a great game... just wish I could continue playing it; at this point when I log in I'm greeted with a blank menu screen; no way to continue, start new, or even quit. I don't even want to get into the piss poor Nvidia support for multi-screen loven. :(
Quick question on this monitor; I just ordered 3 of these for gaming; can you tell if they have mounts on them so I can hang them on a single stand or no.
Thanks mate,
Good stuff, glad to see it can be had fairly inexpensively, (if you already have a decent NV card.)
I've got a general multi-display layout question, how does something like this, (either NV or ATI's soloution,) work with having the central screen in landscape mode and the other 2 in portait?
Why do you say that? Center mass would have been a better shot, not just clipping the corner. now if they had taken the shot along the edge that would have been more impressive, (and caused more damage).
So far I'm having fun with it, from my experience you really can't approach it like a 'standard' shooter, more along the lines of a Baldurs Gate or something of that sort.
Story is fun and at least relatively believable; dialog tree is a good mechanic which adds to the immersion, strong voice...
To me that reeks of excuse; the costs could be easily deferred by partnering with either municipals or private companies, (think Corning, one of the largest manufacturers of fiber optics.) Not to mention the cost could be recouped in fairly short order. At this point if there is a cost issue...
Three in lies the problem though ultimately, businesses being too greedy, no competition driving things forward, local governments charging the pleasure of doing business with us tax ultimately leads to the current state of things.
Again Im not talking about anything beyond broadband...
Granted; but under that same logic every major city in the US that has population density equal to or greater than Taiwan should have the same level of service/penetration correct?
That is not the case in any city in the US so the logic falls through...
Funny thing is I was interested in this one; own, (as in purchased for the knee jerk reactionaries out there,) the first one for the PC and though it had some rough spots and fairly repetitive game play the premise was interesting and the story was enough for me to look forward to the next...
