Thanks for the tips, guys...
I have the big shuriken now, and I'm not a fan. I tried to run the h70, but it's too big, so I'll try the h50 instead.
Thanks for the help.
Hey guys,
Looking for an aftermarket heat sink for my EVGA P55 mATX w/ i5 650. I've got it in a Silverstone SG-03, so clearance is a huge issue.
The more I think about, the more I think I could stick to the stock cooler... Any thoughts and/or experiences welcome.
TIA.
I built a PC for my mom using the SG03, ST80f and a Q6600 -- I just stuck to the stock CPU cooler, with 2 120mms at the front of the case -- no problems whatsoever (not OC'd though).
Space is extremely limited in this case, and the stock CPU cooler does a good job.
Awesome, thanks. I've been trying to track them down in Canada with no luck, but there's also a handful of parts I want at Frozen, so I'll just order them at once and hope not to get hit too hard at the border :)
I'm glad I found this post as I was looking at the Feser rads and have already...
I'm piping in a little late here, but I got hooked on this game...
When I first got it, I hated it. I simply couldn't grasp the concept initially. I let it sit for a while then gave it another try. It's truly the best team oriented FPS I've played, and that's why I got hooked.

If it wasn't for the bow and arrow, I wouldn't have enjoyed this game.
That being said, it's an average game at best -- I did enjoy it, but thought it was far too linear and easy to play. The "slow mo" on demand makes it far to easy to kill your enemies. However, the story line was good - I...
Asus P5E-VM HDMI -- out of your budget, but the best mATX available IMO.
I built an SFF system last month, and OC'd my q6600 to ~3GHz (I gave the machine to my mother, so I can't remember exactly how fast I had it running) -- I ran it through Prime95 and it never flinched (although it did run...
Let's make one thing clear: the only way to guarantee good results is to pay them.
Don't waste your time with meta data -- it is virtually useless in the context of internet based search engines (such as Google).
As someone mentioned, there is a large emphasis on the number of other sites...
haha, ditto... anything larger, or anything that requires concurrent users, needs to use a "real" database.
I only use Access to build databases I can "upsize" to a third party SQL box -- assuming I don't have direct access (no pun intended) to the SQL box.
1GB?! you guys are nucking...
Unfortunately, frames are far from dead. There are XHTML doctypes that continue to support them, and they will continue to be supported for quite some time.
Accessibility is the biggest buzz nowadays, and the reason there is so much emphasis on xhtml compatibility. That being said, don't let...
A friend of mine has an interesting setup:
PUMP > RAD (2x120) > CPU > NB > RAM > RAD (1x120) > GPU > SB > RAD (1x120)> RESERVOIR > repeat
By my definition, that's one loop with a few stops :) It's a pretty cool setup, I'd just be concerned about his 655 pump not being able to sustain a...
I'd also consider open dialogue with the web designer, and simply asking what his budget is.
He got the contract, he needs work done, so you could always ask him what he's looking to spend. It's a good way to start an open relationship with someone who could potentially feed you additional...
The problem only occurs in FireFox, not IE.
I didn't have much time to play with it, but I've had similar problems running scripts on relative DIVs. It's similar to the "box model" issues of the past.
Simply put, you have to use absolute positioning when overlapping DIVs -- it's the best...
The hardest part of my job is estimating the effort required to do a job -- it's worse when I have to estimate the time for others.
My advice:
1) take the amount you think you'll need, and multiply it by 2 or 3 (probably 3 since you're fresh out of school and think you know everything :p...
It's simple, you make the same mistake everyone else does: subjective reasoning.
There's a reason my employees and contractors go to college for 3 years to get a graphic design diploma/degree... and that's just for design, forget the skills needed to build marketing and advertising strategies...
Found this in the SFF section of [H]. I'm building a water cooling setup in the same case as this guy, and this seems to be the most narrow rad and the only one that fits in the front fan bracket of the Silverstone SG03.
Does anyone know the make and model of the 120x2 rad pictured below?
TIA
Can anyone tell me what kind of rad that is (the 120x2)?
I have the same case, and I can't seem to find a rad narrow enough to fit in the 'fan bracket' used in the front of the case.
TIA
I've worked in the advertising industry for 10 years before moving onto private software development and consulting. There's a difference between a mickey mouse solution, and a web presence built on marketing strategies and robust code.
Look at everything Apple does, do you think they just...
You are correct, you can't put any logic into a CSS file. As for your code, move all those scripts to a function in your head, then call to it in your html:
<head>
<script type="text/javascript">
function showhome() {
document.getElementById('home').style.visibility='visib...
I thought the Asus would be overkill, but it looks like a solid board capable of good OCing.
It's been ordered :-) Worklog to come next week, should be interesting...
I'm building a LAN party rig strictly for gaming purposes. I'm building it using parts from the rig in my sig. I have all the components of my new SFF build on order except for the mobo...

I've seen several TJ09/10 WC builds that have the pump on the bottom of the case, next to the PSU. But with your rad setups, that will be hard to do.
I'm modding a TJ10 (with parts of my TJ09 as the 'guinea pig') to handle water, and my pump sits in the 3.5 bay. I only use a card reader and...
I couldn't agree more, I'm becoming more and more of a Corsair fan.
That being said, we are suckers for big power. Such a small percentage of builds require this much juice... I can't help but think most are suckered into buying such bohemoth PSUs (the same way I got suckered into SLI) ;-)
With eSATA being relatively 'rare' on motherboards, I'm looking for a 3rd party solution.
That being said, all eSATA controllers I find seem to have issues with speed/drivers/firmware/etc.
Any experience with these components or recommendations is greatly appreciated.
1) Download 30-day trial
2) Go through the tuturials
I learned all my flash through the tutorials that came with the software. It's very good, and takes you through the basics and gives you a basic understanding of everything you need to know to get started. Once you go through the...
