Noise bad! Squealing is very likely a capacitor.
Since it's still running, you are a prime candidate for the advanced replacement process.
1. Get the replacement.
2. Swap it in.
3. Send back the noisy unit.
Near zero downtime.
When I was in tech support, I loved the modular NeoPower units. There is another 500 Watt modular power supply, and we had a capacitor problem with it. It was the SmartPower series, which has been discontinued. If you send in a SmartPower PSU, it will most likely be replaced with a much newer...
On page 5 in the manual. You can download the PDF by going to the 300 page and scrolling down to where it says Manuals and then click on the flag for your language.

In the wide picture, it shows how you route the power cable from the...
The wires from the front LEDs and switches are more than 38cm from the back of the case. They are mounted to the front of the case and should not interfere with a 3x rad.
However...
To install a 3x radiator will require removing the 5.25 bays. They are responsible for some of the case...
Whatever fan you choose, just make sure to take advantage of the power cable opening! When I wrote the manual, I was careful to put in that wide picture on page 5 to show the best wire routing. You can stash all the front fan connections (and speed switches, if you elect to use TriCools) in the...
I'll start off with the simple mods that you can do. You can add a 120mm LED fan to the side panel of the 900. Also, eventually, the drive cages for the 1200 may be available separately, and they fit into 900 cases. The advantages of the 1200 drive cages are the dust filters and the rotary knob...
The incompatibility issue has to do with minimum loads and startup timing. I didn't think mobos were still doing this.
There is a very thorough article from a couple years ago that covered this subject:

I have to love it. So many negative posts, but I'm thrilled so many people are talking about it. Aesthetics are personal, subjective. There are plenty of cars I consider fugly, including one that cost ~ $250,000. Well made, fast, quality cars that I wouldn't drive if you gave me one for free...
Appreciate the thought, but the after-market already has things like
that come with the necessary adapter boards. The required adapter electronics would add additional cost to the case that the majority of people who just want to use normal drives won't want to pay.
Long live the NSK 1380. We made some changes to the case in response to customer input and have moved it into the New Solution line of products. It now has a 350 watt PSU that's 80PLUS® certified.
Other PSU manufacturers are seeing this problem as well. It is NOT a PSU issue. It is a compatibility issue, and Antec has worked with NVIDIA to determine the best way to solve this. There will likely be two parts to the solution. We have a new revision of the Quattro PSU, and if you have an...
That's an up-to-date screenshot. It's got the 1200 case on it.
Antec use to make aluminum cases, and I've built systems in a few of them. They tend to seem flimsy until you get all the stuff into it and then they get sturdier. I really liked the SuperLANboy, and I converted it to green...
Not sure if yours is the one I tangled with. The Lian Li that I tangled with was a Wushu fighter. ;)
I loved the little Nokia phone in Transformers... way of the Ninja fer'sure.
I do a lot of consulting, and the amount of dust inside the case usually reflects the amount of dust in the...
If you run the machine 24/7, the EarthWatts might pay for itself with power saving. If you turn on the machine for a few hours per day or only occasionally, then the Basiq is the lower total cost option.
But I sure don't always use the stuff from wherever I work. I use to work at a company that made the world's worst mice. I don't speak ill of them (not by name) but I never used their umm... stuff.
The P182 will let you route the PCI-E cables from the PSU chamber, behind the motherboard...
Don't know how long it has been since we built 300 Watt supplies. If you are looking to replace an old unit, I would recommend the EarthWatts 380 since it is efficient enough to help pay for itself and big enough to migrate to a new machine when you replace your backup rig.
You'll notice...
Yeah, that's the case I have. I put a Pentium D 950 in it and with all the fans on low, it's almost inaudible. I was still able to cool the CPU with a fanless heatsink (the one that looks like six 'stacks' of quarters.) The CPU cooler is usually a problem in a case as aerodynamic as the 900...
Many of our cases have HD Audio compatible ports.
Here's a link to our case comparison PDF which is probably the fastest/easiest way to see which of our cases supports HD Audio.

Hope that helps.

The P182SE features a black interior and a mirrored stainless steel exterior. It also has one extra feature which other P182 models do not have, which is the addition of an internal snakelight which can be handy for lighting the interior of your case when moving cables around, checking airflow etc.
For those of you with the P182SE case, I just wanted to let you know that Antec is hosting a P182 SE picture contest. You could win a brand new Quattro PSU to go with your case!
Details here:

Sounds very likely that you have a dead PSU. I recommend that you contact Antec customer support at: http://www.antec.com/newticket.html
Since it is only 8 months old you can get a warranty replacement if you still have your receipt.
Sounds like you already made your decision, but I thought I would add my 2 cents anyway.
The SP-350 is probably the better choice, as it uses a newer ATX standard and is likely still under warranty. The PP-412x being a few generations old was built to a much older atx standard that may or...
We updated the P180 Silver so that it matches the P180B internally.
When P180B first came out, you could still find both versions of the P180. That shouldn't be the case now (no pun intended).
RMA replacements: We typically replace with the same model if possible. If not (ie discontinued product) we replace with a product as close to the original as possible. Example would be original TruePower getting replaced by a TP2.
No matter what we'll stand behind our product and they'll...
1) Scythe Ninja fits fine. I'm using both.
2) 7950 GX2 fits fine
3) I filled most of the extra fan mounts so everything runs pretty cool and pretty quiet. CPU gets up to 45C at full load, during the hot days of summer it might have hit 50C. Drives are normally in the high 30's to low...
Ha, I was even in LV this weekend. Not that my main system would have helped you...well ok I probably could have gone out and bought a 2nd 7950GX2 and more HD's.
That would be incorrect. Opening it does void the warranty.
Broken stickers on NeoHE's we'll overlook and if you don't mess with the insides we'll still honor the warranty (for Pre A3 versions). Since Pre A3 had bad sticker/poor placements.
Sonata 2 does not ship with a NeoHE though.
I don't know, but I"ll see if I can find out. Sorry for the lack of reply, I was on vacation from 6/16 until yesterday so I'm just getting caught up on things.
There still seems to be some lingering questions or doubts about Antecs NeoHE line of power supplies. Let us be clear:
Antecs NeoHE are the quietest, most stable and most reliable line of power supplies that Antec has ever released. They have also received more positive reviews and awards...
