Welp, they managed to snag my favorite site for knockoff NFL Jerseys. Thankfully I have a gmail address for them from my previous orders so I can still do business with them directly without a website. This is just a game of whac-a-mole - seizing a domain does nothing to stop this activity.
I enjoyed all the talk in here regarding the authenticator, password strength, etc. None of that matters in this particular scenario. Yes, those are good ways to strengthen your security posture, but this particular vulnerability appears to deal with session security of public games. From...
Impressive, but one thing caught me as odd. I could understand if it was *only* a retro collection, completely ignoring the modern consoles. BUT, he's got a PS3 there, but no XBox 360? Now I could have understood if he was an anti-xbox person, but he's got the original xbox down there so...
Welp, the tracking information was slow to update. The two monitors I ordered on Monday arrived on Saturday. The two Catleaps are flawless. I can't spot a single dead pixel, and the backlight bleed is so minimal that I can't discern it. I'm thrilled with the two monitors (aside from the...
I ordered two from green-sum on Monday. Doesn't show as shipped yet in eBay, and doesn't have any tracking information listed. So, I guess I'm in the same boat as some others - waiting on him to get more in stock to fill the orders. I'm not in a big hurry so it doesn't matter to me much, but...
Welp, I ordered two just now (Catleap from Green-Sum). Only one will be connected to my PC - the other will be for one of the other family PCs (I'll let them fight over it LOL). This will be replacing my 26.5" DoubleSight monitor which I got years ago thanks to the large thread &...
Here's a review that includes 3D bluray testing, among other things. I'm impressed. I picked up 3 mini-ATX cases ages ago on a [H]ot deal, been waiting for something like this to put into them for htpc use...
From Gigabyte's spec page on this mobo:
1. 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x4
(The PCIEX4 slot conforms to PCI Express 2.0 standard.)
Ok, now perhaps I'm an idiot and have not kept up on these sorts of things, but if it's running at x4, doesn't that technically make it a PCI...
I own 3 Vizio TVs (55" living room, 47" boys room, 20" my bedroom). They have all 3 been an outstanding value for the money - I've had zero issues with them. I can understand if someone wanted to spend a bit more on another brand because it might have better picture quality or a feature that...
wolf2009,
Please try using the newest 7/29 driver straight from the vendor instead of the one from HP, and report back if you have better luck. Thanks. http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=1
(second link in the list)
Personally, I've had better luck using drivers direct from vendor...
I've been wanting to pick up a 27.5" monitor for my son, and saw the Hanns-G on this site the other day. One thing to consider is that the shipping (to my zip code at least) would be $29 for ground. Another part that scared me was their pixel policy. If I had 7 fubar pixels on a monitor I...
hmmm. that's an interesting comment. I have several, no issues so far at all. My first gut reaction would be to think that people having issues are using them for something other than what they're best suited for. A green drive's ideal scenario is archival storage. Put movies and junk on...
THANK YOU!
So, my Ratpadz XT came in the mail today. The pad itself is fantastic - love the quality & texture. Much to my dismay, my mouse wasn't working all that well with it. I have a Razer Diamondback. It's hard to explain, but as I would glide the mouse around slowly, there were...
One of the reviews on Walmart's site claims this particular one is a rebranded RCA. It has a link, says even the OSD and remote are identical. Dunno if that makes or breaks the deal, but I thought it was interesting enough to point out.
BTW, I have a 55" Vizio and love it - I think most would...
I concur - Verbatim is the only way to fly when it comes to XBox 360 backups. I've tried going cheap, with hardly any success. I'm sure that success depends on which drive you have in your 360, but I've also read elsewhere that Verbatim is preferred due to the lack of issues regardless of...
Got hit with $10 shipping to Ohio. For the price I thought I'd pick one up to mess around with. I have 2 Popboxes pre-ordered, but perhaps this might replace one of them. My intent is to stream 1080p MKV rips from the net. (not raw as the poster above) From what I've read online, many...
Yeah, totally had the same giggle when they combined those two items.
On a serious note, I can't say enough good things about this toy. If you happen to have a wife or GF who is too shy/insecure at the thought of bringing toys into the bedroom, this is the best way to get them comfortable...
Great timing. Pre-ordered a couple Popboxes for family, was looking for a decent storage enclosure for them, this will work out nicely. In for 4, less than $40 out-the-door. Thanks OP!
I used to do that, had an antec 900 stuffed full of drives. I ended up changing my strategy. Nowadays I use one of the Thermaltake BlacX external docks, and I just hot swap in a drive when I need it. I found that my tendency is to watch recent movies, so I don't often swap to the old drives...
The BlacX Duet ST0014U (Recertified Product) is not currently available. Please contact us for availability of this item.
Bah Humbug - guess I wasn't fast enough.
I'm a sucker for cheap-ass cases. In for 3. Dunno yet what exactly I'll use them for - maybe tinker with an ION build or something. Or maybe for when people ask me to build junk for them on a shoestring budget.
For $30 I have low expectations, and I'm easy to please.
Thanks OP!
Thanks for the code. I've been out of space since like Thanksgiving, but with all the xmas expenses I've been putting off getting another drive. Now I have no more excuses. :-) Picked up one for now, thinking about a second.
When I click thru the banner suggested in the OP, I do not see the intermediary bing cashback window where it shows the percentage and my email address before passing me to the site. Isn't that where it establishes the cookie or whatever that triggers the cashback? If I don't see that window...
Thanks OP! I had problems at first - using Nintendo Wii showed the banner with 15%, but when I clicked it I did not get the bing cashback clickthru or the banner at eBay. I was thinking they caught on, but after reading at SD, I searched on Ninten Wii instead, and the banner WORKED for that...
I just wanted to put in a good word for this deal. I have a Brother HL-2070N laser that I bought like 3 years ago (via a hot deal posting here if I recall correctly), and it's been fantastic. Great quality, Great Price, Great Dependability. Even the toner carts are cheap by comparison to...
Picked up one this morning :-) Got there just before 6am, had about 7 xbox 360s sold in line ahead of us, they had 18 total, so got one no problem. The person at the head of the line got there at 11pm. LOL I went to a 24-hour Walmart so we could wait inside - they had the line in the lawn...
That's what I was thinking. If I go buy one from Walmart today and don't open it, could I go back Saturday and do a full return/repurchase. I guess I could always do that as an insurance policy - if I don't get in line early enough for the door buster deal, I could try returning/repurchasing...
Ok, so I have a 360 that RRODs most of the time (occasionally it will actually work for a few hours). It's an original batch from waaaay back, so it's out of warranty. I did a bit of reading here and elsewhere, and from what I can tell, the "best" long term fix is a reflow of the solder along...
That's the wrong model. As I understand it, SSDSA2MH080G2R5 is gen 1, and SSDSA2MH080G2C1 is gen 2. So, those looking to buy one should go for the CostCentral link, not this Amazon one.
EDIT: NM, now not sure what the difference is, they both have G2 in the model number and I didn't catch...
I have a quick question unrelated to the whole console vs PC direction this thread has headed :-)
In the previous CoD games, I found out that the key protection was only specific to an IP address. That meant I only had to purchase a single copy of the game, but both myself and my kids were...
In for 2 packs. Can't beat that price for real brand-name batteries. Thanks OP! (and thanks to the other poster with the good info about them being Energizers)
I was considering buying the Samsung from Dell, but changed my mind.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236053
$159.99 after rebate with free shipping
1) Has better reviews than the Samsung
2) Comes with DVI cable (the Samsung only comes with a VGA cable??!)
3)...
I think this one at Dell is a much better deal. Looks like it might be Government pricing tho instead of retail.

:-)
NM: Saw after posting it's for a 20 pack, that explains the...
So here's the way I look at it. To go see a movie and pick up a pack of candy to snack on, you're gonna drop $10. And, if you choose a LONG movie, you're going to get about 3 hours of entertainment for that $10 you spent. Now, compare that to this videogame (or any other). How much...
If you're looking for an opinion/suggestion on a new TV, I recently purchased a Vizio 55" LCD and couldn't be happier. Both Sam's Club and Costco carry it - the advantage being you can return it if you're unhappy with dead pixels (good luck getting NewEgg to return an LCD TV with a dead pixel...
