Don't the GTXs and 7900 series have the infineon chips while these GTO's are on the samsung ones that the infineon replaced? So maybe they're just clearing out the memory chips by underclocking/undervolting them and slapping em on a GTX board/core. my GTO came Pre-Fubard.... RMAing it...

i think it's marketing ploy. I got 2x512mb balistix sticks from newegg that were ddr2-667 at 3-3-3-12.... ZZF has DDR2-800 but at 4-4-4-12... I can run DDR2-800 at 4-4-4-12 as well.... and even down to 4-3-3-12... But i bet they will both OC the same.

UPDATE FOR THOSE WHO CARE: It turned out to be defective monitors. Not one but BOTH of the ones i got in the begining were bad. Samsung was nice enough to send me two more to see if they work. Here is a video comparing the ones i got today and the old one. Both are actually made in china...
