Torchlight - Forcing a Specific Refresh Rate

Is there a way to force a specific refresh rate in Torchlight, e.g., 85hz? The game keeps defaulting to 60hz. I have tried RefreshLock, but it does not seem to work with this game.

    HP LP2475W or NEC 2490

They should. The only difference between the SV and non-SV versions is that the SV version includes SpectraView II with a NEC-branded Eye-One Display 2 colorimeter.

    8GB (4x2GB) DDR2-800 - Downclock or Not?

I recently purchased two (2) OCZ OCZ2P8004GK DDR2-800 4GB dual-channel kits, and after ensuring that each pair is stable on its own, I am ready to insert all four (4) DIMMs for a total of 8GB. My problem is I am unsure of whether or not I need to downclock to DDR2-667 speeds when populating all...

When will the Q9650 and Q9550 Be Avail?

The Q9450 is being replaced with the Q9400, which is essentially a Q9450 with 6MB of total L2 cache as opposed to 12MB. Think of it as a Q9300 clocked up to 2.66 GHz. And yes, I am quite aware that I went model number crazy. :p

Best 23-24" sRGB IPS Monitor (nec 2490wuxi, Hazro hz23w hz24w, apple cinema hd 23")

Based on what I have read on the [H]ard|Forum, I am quite sure it has the polorizer.

Best 23-24" sRGB IPS Monitor (nec 2490wuxi, Hazro hz23w hz24w, apple cinema hd 23")

Have you considered the Hazro HZ24W? It uses the same 24" H-IPS panel as the LCD2490WUXi. It even has the A-TW polorizer, although it does not feature SpectraView II.

    Official NEC MultiSync LCD2490WUXi-BK Thread

I think the time has come for the little, less colorful brother of LCD2690WUXi to have its own thread. :D I bought one from Buy.com for $1105 shipped yesterday. It will hopefully be here on Friday, and I will post my impressions in this thread once I have had a chance to fully evaluate it. :)

    NEC 2490WUXi-BK vs. 2690WUXi-BK

The LCD2690WUXi has many QC issues and is wide-gamut, which means that colors will be over-saturated in non-color-managed applications. The LCD2490WUXi supposedly has far fewer QC issues and uses the sRGB gamut, which is more desirable for the vast majority of applications. Yesterday, I...

Anyone seen a NEC 2090uxi and 2490uxi. AG coatings?

I think that the 2090uxi is an S-IPS panel, not an H-IPS. It has the A-TW polarizer, though. As for the coating, I have never seen the 2090uxi, so I do not know. I am this close to pulling the trigger on a 2490WUXi, but that would not really help you with your 2090uxi dilemma.

LCD displays are unaffected by magnetic fields, so your speakers are just fine next to your monitor.
