ive only had 2 VGA's both BFG(8600GTS & 8800GT) and for quite sometime also, fortunately for me they have been flawless.....:)

here is a run from my [email protected]/8800GT system, this benchie is weird BTW, tearing is too much on my monitor, so i'd probably run 2xAA or 4xAA with V-snyc..... the 186.08 beta drives really give a nice boost for this bench as compared to the last likable/stable set i used = 182.50 WHQL,others NV...

im going to hate parting with these, they gave me an absolutely ridiculous boost running the SF4 bench ....:D and still kick ass @COD4....mostly D3d 9 errors in all other games & benchies or broken AA.... oh well thats what i get for foolin with quadros, back to 182.50's i guess since...

even with the latest directX redist...still geting "error creating D3 9 Grapical engine"....must be the NV 190.15 dirvers i guess.....:(

i a let my brother borrow an 8600gts i was not using...stock cooler is garbage,but it will oc to 760/16xx/1100,it has been folding day and night since the GPU client was released....still works just fine...

when using "apply settings at startup" does it still ask for permission in windows vista with UAC on????

sometimes drivers released (not leaked) by Nvidia will only support 9series/2xx series....but it doesnt matter...just grab an INF file and mod it....;)

not tryin to get all techy but,for example : ....my brothers 26" westy(720P) with an XB360 playing Test Drive Unlimited(for example) hardly looks like 2XAA on the console @ 720p,hardly looks like any sampling either,just plain 2XAA... on the other hand,with my(x2 5000+@ 2.6(2GB DDR2 533)...

how are cable and sat subcribers affected by the SD analog broadcast being ended??? will it just be "over the air" local broadcasts that are moving to hd format only?

wow....i could image if your 8800gt has stock heat-sink that things get mighty toasty in that case.....alot of conductive metal touching makes me nervous....zap.....water it some how??

i think the sm scores might be a tad bit low for 8800gt stock clocks,just a hair tho,not much...the cpu score is on the money tho... should be closer to sm 2.0 - 4300 /sm 3.0 - 5000.....with forceware 163.13's

picked up a BFG8800GT OC from a local BB in Heath,OH. they still have 3 on the shelf.....

using the 162.15/vista 32/international... digital vibrance works now..... NO GPU error when over-clocking in ntune...??? maybe i didnt notice this was fixed since i use riva tuner....didnt think it worked with the 158.45's???? seem good so far.....
