I know it's been a while since I've logged in, let alone posted, but I'm back lol!
Anyway, I came across perhaps THE extension many Chrome users (SRWare Iron, Chromium, etc.) have been waiting for (and others who are on the FF/Chrome fence).
NotScripts
From the developer's chrome-extensions...
It should be common knowledge that companies/agencies etc. are always one step behind the latest. There's no reason for them to be on untested software anyway like many I have already said.
Sadly a price drop isn't going to solve their problems long term (as in beyond 3-5 months). They will get a spike in sales while still selling the least overall and this will do nothing for developers. A console or system that is constantly invoked with "price slashes" and "just wait unti X...
Even though this is a good thing (to see some kind of progress being made with anything), I doubt like all the rest, that it will ever get to a final version. "Forever Beta" is Google's motto.
How about people just do what the heck they want to do and leave it at that? Not getting smart at anyone, but this is yet another of the many questions that gets asked over and over. OC if you want to, don't if you want to. Want to ask why to go either way? Remember that the answer is...
We just need a terrorist group to "demo" the RIAA's and MPAA's HQ at 2am when no one's there...
Yes, oh noes I said it :o.
Seriously though, it's nice to see that a company's actually scared (cares?) about their relationship to the RIAA. It's all futile though, thank goodness that the...
Yes and do not confuse the hat nicknaming with a jimmy hat, those can be multi-colored. Hopefully, this new UAC setup won't stay the way it is now. It sounds like a slight redesign more than a bug, that's why I say that. Again it's still pretty early so we'll see (unless MS is serious about a...
It is a downgrade, most people have reported a select few games where performance is better. However, the exclusion of the multi-core hotfix seems to negate any other performance improvements. So say for example if 9.1 had it included, the performance increase over the 8.12HF would probably be...
Read. Like I said, I don't use the instant search feature at all. I open up whatever folder I want to get to what I want. For example I don't use the 'start search' either.
Yeah indexing I turn off because I dont really use Search at all. Remote Registry I also turn off just for peace of mind :P. Everything else I leave default as one should.
Nice vid. The other guy should've invested in dark templar ftw while building more attack units in general. He went resource crazy a little too much, the other guy did it faster and more balanced betweent that and unit production :). I like how SC2 is much faster than SC1 IMO.
Exactly my point, which is why I said what I said before. I doubt they're going to have some radical redirection in management. Business (talk) as usual IMO.
Double post. Running FF3 (not 3.1 beta) on my rig in my sig with a handful of extensions, WMP, and Yahoo MSG going...
Total: 2341.8ms +/- 0.9%
If I just run FF alone I can get it down to around 2,100-2,200ms. I haven't tried Minefield yet, though I do want to. I think FF3.1 will speed...
Lol +1 ftw and given Google's business model, it'll never happen. Not to mention a bunch of other features, various plug-in's etc. that I really really use.
meh.
Clock for clock, I wonder if it will finally catch up the Conroes first of all. I'll wait for some real benchmarks...oh and that activator isn't "legit" *cough*cough. When Windows needs to be reactivated, you do it through the system menu in CP, not through some obvious hack-ware.
As has been said, RTFA for those with questions about the speed limiter. Yes it really only limits to 80mph, but that's better than nothing, even though it doesn't do anything for city streets (duh). The seatbelt/volume control is a good idea (most new cars have the seatbelt cry-alarm...
With the adoption rate of new DX paths these days (and the efficiency and performance therein), I'll be happy to keep Vista and get semi-DX11 compatibility out of my current GPU... I'll probably be finished with it all once SC2 comes out. That is unless something else comes out that I find...
I agree that people should just upgrade for whatever game(s) they want to play and leave it at that, don't worry about if DX is moving too fast or too slow for you. Personally, SC2 is looking to be the last game on PC that I'm anticipating for a while. I'm spending more and more time with...
Eh you should try DX9 if that's easier, it sounds like you've got issues with your install of the game. Plenty of people (like me) run it just fine in DX10 :), GL.
See sig; rips through Warhead on "High"/Gamer settings. It's even better with a custom config :D. Crysis Wars is different as MP is more strenuous. In MP most settings on Gamer with 2-3 on mainstream perform nicely. Personally I use my own custom config that looks like Gamer settings with...
Yeah what you're seeing is probably due to your overclock. Some extra knowledge for any other 4xxx users. In Crysis (as of cat 8.8, dunno about 8.9) you may have seen or still see "salted" shadows (little white sprinkle effect in shadows). To get around that problem set r_shadowjittering = 0...
Must say I'm surprised. I think a good portion is that they don't want the economy getting worse than what it already is, massive amounts of $$ for the RIAA's bullshit wouldn't help matters, aside from the obvious fact that they're just greedy low-lifes to begin with. Oh well I won't get into...
