It's a real question, they could trim some of those long length cards for an inch more to the top instead, why don't they do this? Might not be pretty but still would be better than hitting the HDD area. Is it a cooling problem?

It looks like all the HD4870 are now in stock, expect price drop to it's original MSRP of $299 soon. HD4850 now has Palit as a brand. The lowest price with no rebate is the Visiontek at $189.99, price average at $195.
