Awesome work so far, very pleased with how this is coming along.
Do you have any plans for handles maybe at the back and front of the bottom portion to lift this thing? It is going to weight quite a bit so be careful.
I have had problems with those grills as well. If you shop at performance pcs then you might find yourself some better grills, especially name brands that actually fit and look really nice.
I added 3 drops. Flushed all my parts with boiled distilled water. I am using bitspowered compression fittings with an apogee GTZ waterblock. I leave my computer off overnight, so why would my reservoir be clear and only my tubes cloudy?
EDIT: I will be flushing my system this weekend...
I recently added a water cooling system to my rig about 2 months ago. My lines have become a little cloudy.
I am using clear tygon tubing, with distilled water. I have added algae gone to my lines to prevent algae from growing. (I have added enough)
My swiftech reservoir is clear, just...
I added a 120mm fan for cooling plus there is the one pulling right behind them on the back. There is good air flow through the case and the volts they run at are quite low. Should not be a problem?
I used 5-5-5-18 timings when I was OC'ing. I gave plenty of voltage to everything. I have ran at 3.2 before just not stable. And my ram can only run at a max of 800, but I run it at 667 for a 1:1 ratio.
Does anyone have any suggestions where they think I can improve any voltages or speeds? My chip and mobo have a hole around 2.7-2.9Ghz and when I tried going over 3 it didn't seem to stable. I had set my voltage up to 1.46 or so and have worked down from there. It took that much just to reach...

What SB/NB coolers do you have on your mobo? I have the exact same mobo and have been looking for something to add to my WC system for it. Where did you get those other coolers too that are normally attached to the heatpipe?

Everytime my computer restarts my fsb and memory ration control switch back to auto. Anytime I have it set to Unlinked or Linked so I can overclock it now resets everytime.
All my voltages and other settings in the bios stay and I can change them. I...
I have a Q6600 chip reporting a VID of 1.3250v myself and I run into the same problems. I tried using an 8x multiplier but that only made things worse. I can't get past 3GHz and thats with a vcore of 1.4v and its not even as stable as it should be. I tried jacking up my SB/NB volts and...
Just wanted to add:
I had a leak on one of the upgraded compression fittings on the rad. The o-rings given with bitspower really are to small in thinkness for a good seal. I took fatter ones of the supplied barbs and they worked perfect. I will change the other later on.
Other then that...
Just starting with CPU, I would have got my GPU block but I am upgrading my cards soon so there is no point.

Very Impressive iceredwing. I am getting my LC system that XS help me order on tuesday. Right now I am running 3Ghz @ 1.38V. 1.36 in CPU-Z.
33/34/25/26 Idle with 65's/55's under Intel's Burn test with a Zalman 9700 unlapped.
I just kept battling with it. I got it pretty stable at almost 1.4V. Running fine now. Must have been a black hole in the board, and its the 680i board, the SLI - Plus.
Thanks for the responses.
Maybe I have a bad chip or mobo, but I haven't got past 2.8GHz stable.
I am currently running at 3Ghz (1333 x 9) but my computer restarts when I run Intel's Burn test, or threads crash/and sometimes I restart in Prime95.
I have bumped up all voltages.
Vcore - 1.36V
1.2 VT - 1.5V

Thanks for the help guys. I think I am going to run clear for alittle while. I got alot of cathcode lights that will light everything up. Just going to use distilled water and PT Nuke it.
I know about flushing the rad, and thanks for the tips. I might run a triple rad since I will be adding...
I removed my GPU water cooling right now, since I will be upgrading really soon.
Changed my pump to what you suggested along with my rad.
