I would run it longer than that to see what your temp is. I would say at least 15mins or so if not more like 30.

At this point I would guess that the mobo is reading temps wrong. That just isn't right. I would try some motherboard forums out there and see if anyone knows.

If it works at 392 then it works. The autodetect is known to be bit flaky, sometimes giving huge numbers (600/1400 I saw once :D ) and other times give low numbers (150, 500). So just go with what works

Fans don't last forever. My old back up system had its CPU fan die, while my good old Geforce 2 fan died just recently too. Oil may fix it, but the ball bearings in fans do give out after awile. So its expected

The pipeline is deep than that of the the AXP but nowhere near as long as the P4. I have 2-2-2-5 timings and get great performance out of it. But I find that the A64 likes a happy medium of good timings and speed. Its not one extreme or the other. I can't overclock much because my board...

I have a PNY and have been happy as hell with it. Good overclocker right out of the box with some room to spare (see sig :cool: ). Looks like you just got one of the bad ones. It happens now and then.

I let it burn in for a night then started overclocking a bit. From what I have heard the card uses some of that shin etzu stuff for the GPU which takes a while to kick in.

The best way is to reformat. If you don't want to do that I would uninstall the ATI drivers however you like (driver clearner or just ATI uninstall) and reboot. When you get to the desktop go ahead and shut down. This is just to be sure that the drivers are really gone. Then install the nVidia...

Well I would say your still fine. CCFL and HD don't pull too much power, I would say no more than 50W. The fans may be a bit of a draw, but even with the highest power fans I would say no more than 100W. Adding up the rest of what you have I would still say your well within the limit of that...
