If you do have unlimited data, then tethering using these apps won't cost extra as far as data usage. There are free and paid versions of the apps, however, so that may be an extra cost. The paid version of East Tether allows for connections to https sites, as well as IM clients and such.

I know this is a small annoyance being fixed, but in Excel 2010 when you're highlighting cells and pull the cursor off the bottom of the screen to highlight faster, the pace slows down as it approaches the end of a set of data...it's helpful to me at any rate.
