Take from that what you will...
Between Gmail, Google Docs, iGoogle, and Google Calendar, Google pretty much runs my life.
Ohhh yeah... and apparently they have some sort of search engine. :)
Has anyone tried it on a netbook yet?
I have the beta running on VM on my main rig and I have been playing with it through remote assist on my eee pc 2g surf. The interface on 7 looks great on a 7" screen. I was wondering if anyone had it installed on a netbook yet to gauge performance.
I'm glad to see that ms wants to do something different with the look of windows 7. I'm sure there will be a way to make it look vista/xp-ish for those that want that, but more customization and a new look appeals to me. I hope they don't get scared and go back on this.
As for the touch...
I own a 8800gt, and I don't see anything wrong with leaving it out.
This article would be primarily for people that want to know which new video card to buy for this game. At this point, I think the 8800gt and 3870 have had their time in the sun. I don't think I would recommend them anymore...
Chair wars!
It is a pretty cool looking chair. I can't imagine it being worth that much, but I would love to take one out for a spin.
However, I am disappointed that it's not edible.
I dunno about putting it on my laptop, but I could definitely see using it on a LCD screen that's part of a docking station setup.
My friend has a docking station for his Lenovo. I'm going to see what he thinks of it.
I think some of you guys are missing the point.
Open source portable gaming system. Let's see what we can do with it. Sure, it might not be practical, but it's fun to play with stuff like this. I'm really interested in seeing what the community around this product will come up with. I think...
I haven't used the Gigabyte, but I have owned the p5q deluxe for a few months now and I have never been happier with a motherboad purchase. I have a rock-stable overclock with my q6600 at 3.6Ghz (450x8) and I haven't had a hitch with it.
Highly recommended.
Yeah, he has the eye candy on too high. He obviously doesn't know how he should set this up. 2x AA? That's stupid. I think it could run the game better if setup better.
Overall, I think it is very impressive for a laptop this small and cheap.
I think we should see this for the market it is...
Yeah, I'm going to have to agree. The Aspire One is a better deal right now and I have recommended it to a couple of friends. The extra screen size doesn't seem worth it and the aspire's keyboard is also really good. I also think the blue aspire is just plain prettier.
People seem to really...
I'm going to wait for some reviews. For $30, if the single player game is better and the multiplayer is actually good, I would be willing to give it a go. If it looks and runs better, I'm going to have a hard time not getting it. I love being able to show my console gaming friends what a PC can...
I think you hit the nail on the head there.
Also to consider, though, is that selling a card that is only ~$100 does not allow them to have much of a markup. They are investing a hell of a lot of money to just sell low end parts with low mark up. Making just low end parts is not a good...
