I have the creative inspire T7700 7.1 surround system. It's adapter is the 230V.
Anyone knows where I can buy ~110 adapters?
It's a 13.5v 6000mA one.
Thanks

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/940394/4_0ghz_overclocking_by_core_2_quad_q6600/

Hello,
I built a new system:
ASUS P5Q pro
Intel Q6600
Asus HD4850
Corsair 550VX
Corsair Ram 2x2gb 800
As soon as I turn it on, the cpu/case fans spin for a split of a second, then nothing.. Any idea?
I'm not sure if I missed anything. Are there more than 1 power cable to the MB, another one...
Hello,
I just built a new machine using the Asus P5Q pro MB.
Do you think I'd better off using the sound card of the MB, or should I plug in my old Creative Audigy 2 ZS 7.1 sound card?
I have a Creative T7700 7.1 surround system and I'm planning on using it.
I'm not an overclocker, but I expect to OC the CPU to 3.0~3.1 Ghz, that's why I didn't go for the 1066mhz RAM.
I'm gonna do some online gaming so the wifi card should be good.
CPU: Intel Q6600
Motherboard: Asus P5Q pro (Any better MB at that price?)...
I'm building a new system, and so far I decided on these items:
Intel Q6600
ATI HD4850
About the motherboard, I'm reading that the new P45 chipset isn't really that better than the previous P35, besides that it supports CrossFire.
Some reviews are saying that the P35 chipset is better for...
Hello,
I am building a new system, and I'm gonna get a hd4850.
I was going to get the new powercolor:

because reviews are saying it's quieter and runs cooler.
But now since that text edit can make any card run cooler and quieter...
Hi,
I'm building a new PC and it has been a long time since I last read any hardware related stuff, so I need some help just to make sure that I don't have a component way faster or slower than the others:
CPU: Intel E6750
VGA: HD2900PRO but I might wait for the 2950PRO
MB: Asus P5KE
RAM: AT EB...
I don't know if I am using the correct words here, but what I'm asking about is:
My friend and I have both internet conenctions. Is there any way I can make all my send/recieved data pass through his computer before leaving/reaching mine?
Please note that I'm not talking about physically...

I bought this kit (2x512mb). I plugged them in my PC:
Neo2 Platinum
3800+ 130nm
BFG 6800GT at stock speeds
When I booted my PC, it didn't boot.
I tried each one alone. The first one: The PC booted normally and windows xp loaded with no errors.
I unplugged it, and plugged the 2nd stick...
I have already posted a thread at the AMD's mobo section, but no one seems to have an idea..
"
Does anyone have this combination? What BIOS version are you using?
I heard a lot about compatibility issues, and my 3800+ is on the way.. and my neo2 platinum is waiting here..

I'm about to get a new HDD.. I have these 2 options:
Maxtor DiamondMax 10 250GB (16 mb buffer)
Hitachi 7K250 (aslo 250GB) but with 8 mb buffer
I don't care about warranty or noise.. All I care about is performance in games..
It should be 16x dual layer..
According to this article at Anandtech, the NEC ND3500 is the best one so far. The article is a bit old, I think the ner ND3520 is available now..
Anyways, I'm looking at around 60~70$ MAXIMUM. Any opinions?
I have to order it in the next 3 days, and have it shipped and arrived before 20 may. I wanted the 3500+ but it's out of stock, so if there's any other site that's selling the 3500 (retail) Venice right now please post it here..
(Please don't turn this into a Venice vs SanDIego thread)
Thanks
Ok I might get this card it's for around 300$ at NewEgg.
Everybody knows that it has a different heatsink and cooler from other 6800GTs. What I want to know is is that LeadTek's cooler better/worse than normal cooler? Will it affect OCing or not?
And can the NV Silencer Rev5 be mounted...

I mean by before openeing the box.. I read the FAQ and it only says how to know the Athlon XP and Thunderbird.. Also, Should the Venice 3500+ overclock "MUCH" more than the Winchester 3500+?
The Kingston ones have slighlty better timings, but some poeple told me that the Corsair ones have better OC potential.. I mean that the kingston modules perform better at stock speeds, while if I intened to OC, I will get better results with the Corsair modules..
Am I right?

Some people suggest the BFG since it's OCed out of the box, but other people say that it has weak OC potentialcompared to other GTs.. I don't care about the noise or anything else, all I care about is performance and OC potential..
