Where on the site do I get patches for the various games? I'm looking but it's not entirely obvious... And I read in the FAQs that Punkbuster can freak out if your game is 'hacked' to run in widescreen...is this the case? I guess I'm referring to COD, specifically...

Huh? You can just set the LCD to 1:1 when you're in the game - I have BF2 running in 1600x1200, but it's so huge anyway that I don't even notice the bars...

I've read several reviews about movies & the Dell 2405fpw - most of them say movies look *awful*, and this is testing on all kinds of machines...

I had this happen once - you'll either have to disable Helvetica Fractions somehow, or chuck it. Then restart all the apps or simply restart your machine...

How do you find your build date?

Did any of you complaining about the weight of your mouse research and find out if you can 'remove' weights from the inside of the device? The MX518, for example, has a little weight inside that you can unscrew the bottom and remove if you so choose...

There's no way you'll have room for all those LCDs - you'd better give me one of the 20.1"... :D

I may have missed this, but do you have the mouse plugged into the LCD or the computer? If it's the LCD, I would switch it to the machine...

For new games, agreed- but IMO it's not cost effective for someone like Valve to press a bunch of CDs & print up the game manuals for something like DOD -it's a mod, and normally we'd have to download a mod *anyway* to play it. Digital music downloads is a different animal - I've bought a few...

I play most titles on a PC, but I likes my sports games (see: madden, NHL) on a console. Just more fun to kick back on a couch with a few friends and play those as opposed to being crowded around a monitor...

Does anyone have a screenshot of the original HL game updated with the Source graphics? I also would like to know how to purchase it - whenever I click on it in Steam, I just get some screen that tells me I would get it IF I had purchased some bigger package when they first announced it...

Potential dumb question, but does one *have* to play at 1600 resolution when dealing with this monitor? I'm looking at getting one, and I play BF2 a LOT. I don't want it to slow to a crawl just to fill up the screen, but I also want a nice picture and make use of the huge display...

Modded Xbox S Controller- just wish the thumbsticks worked for flying in BF2- they worked great in BFV...right now I'm forced to use the D-pad.

I haven't tried Ventrillo, but everyone I play with uses TeamSpeak... We were originally on Roger Wilco, but once we got past the novelty of talking to each other during games, we realized the quality was crap...

Not sure that a great mouse will help you be a *better* player, but having a crappy mouse will definitely make you a *worse* player.

Still a great LAN party game, IMO... Should run on *anyone's* machine at this point..

I gotta give EA one thing- they brought in the MMPORPG element of 'leveling up' when you play for so many hours. Keeps people playing and playing and playing... :D
