I recently noticed that I have a problem with my contacts on my iPhone. While all my contacts are still listed in alphabetical order, they're no longer subdivided by letter. So I can't tap a letter on the side to jump to those contacts. Any NEW contact I add is in the right spot though. So I...
iNetVideo is having a supersale on HD DVD's. Most are $5.99. Good deals on the BSG and Heroes boxsets as well. They have pretty craptastic shipping rates, but the prices still end up under $9 a movie shipped.
They look like they are primarily an ebay store, but they sell through amazon...
I've found that all too often there are hidden fee's assosiated with some cell phone service plans. So i have a questions about at&t's iphone plans. All of the plans seem to include unlimited data, so does that mean that i can surf the net as much as i want without using any of my "talk" minutes?
Well, after a couple of weeks of random freezes, my 360 is now giving me the beautiful red rings of death. I contacted MS and they sent me package to ship my 360 in for repair, but it dosen't say what i'm suppose to ship them? Do they need the HD, power brick, etc? Am i suppose to include a...
Monoprice has Wii componant cables for $3.84. Shipping for me was under $3, so under $7 shipped.
Since Wii's are starting to be seen in stores, i thought maybe this could be helpful.
I am trying to setup Outlook 2003 to work with gmail work acount, and am running into problems. I used the Gmail setup instructions and I can recieve messages without problem, but i am unable to send. Think leads me to believe that it's a SMTP problem.
If i use the gmail outgoing mail...
Do ALL of the HD DVD drives come with the remote and King Kong HD DVD? Do they both come in the retail box, or are they seperate items? I'd like to go to best buy or circuit city and pick one up, but if i have to go through EBgames to get the free Kong movie, i'll order online.
I'm going to be putting a HTPC together (with parts from a desktop that i don't need anymore), and i was planning on using the Nvidia DualTV capture card. Everything i have read says that this card is among the top tv capture cards available. HOWEVER, i've lately heard that if your using an...
Newegg has the X-fi Platinum for a smoking price of $178.99 - $50MIR.
Newegg Link
Basically you can get the Platinum for a couple bucks more than the Extreme Music version.
Last summer i used a bunch of spare parts that i had lying around and built a half-arsed HTPC. Now i think i'd like to put one together that's more functional. I'm fairly comfortable with all my hardware choices, with the execption of the TV tuners. Even after spending a couple of days here...
I'm not generally a Mac person, but i recently setup a wireless Mighty Mouse on my mothers' Apple laptop. Everthing worked fine while i was there, But now there seems to be a problem. Every two seconds the pointer automatically jumps to the upper left hand corner right below the time.
I'm...

not as hot as the Dell...
I'm going to start off by declaring myself a complete and total linux noob.
With that being said, i'm having problems getting my display to work with a fresh install of ubuntu (64bit - 5.10). I've got a 6800gs with an old Sony CRT that i'm using. After installation was complete, and i had...

I've never ordered anything from these guys before, but since a decent looking case for $35 shipped was going to be hard to beat, i thought i would take a chance. Their Reseller Rating looks to be pretty much hit or miss. I placed my order at 10am and it was shipped 6pm the same day...
Has anyone heard anything about a new version of the Storm coming out? Stowm rev.2? I know i was reading a thread (i thought it was on [H], but it may have been somewhere else) and i thought there was suppose to be more information about it this week. And no, i'm not talking about the Apogee...
I've found a number of KVM units that will allow me to use my USB mouse/keyboard and DVI LCD, but i'd also like to be able to use me Klipsch 5.1 speakers. I've been googling for a while now, and haven't found anything that will work. It seems that all the units i've found won't switch 5.1...
I've noticed that the Dell monitors that are for sale on Ebay claim that they come with a warranty. So if i were to win an auction, and the display showed up with some sort of problem, whould i be able to return it to Dell for exchange/repair?
I'm building a second rig, so NEED to purchase an additional power supply. I currenlty own a OCZ 520w that has been working great for me, however, the rig it's running now is about to have a couple of addins. For my main PC, i need to power the following:
DFI SLI-DR
X2 4800+
2 x eVGA...
So when are we going to be able to use dual-monitors with our SLI setups? I know that it's not that big of a deal to simply disable SLI when yuo want to use multiple monitors, especially now that we don't even have to reboot to make the change, but it seems like this should be a fixable problem...
Over the summer i ordered a 10" Thermochill Thermotube (along with some other stuff: PA120.3, etc..) directly from Thermochill. Now i need a second one for a project that i'm working on, and Thermochill will no longer ship to the US. I checked Dangerden (the sole Distributor of Thermochill...
The time has come to upgrade my monitor. My Hyundai L90D+ has served me well, but i want something with higher resolutions, and a little more screenspace. I've pretty much narrowed my choices down to the Dell 2405fpw or the Gateway FDP2185W. Let me first say that i have read a lot of reviews...
I'd like to get some of the Colder quick disconnects and see for myself if the flow rate decrease really hampers performance. I'm using 7/16" tubing However, looking at THIS SITE, I'm not quite sure what i want. There are about 70 different options here, and i'd hate to order the wrong items...
Using the coolbits registry edit, once you enable SLI in your display options, you no longer have the option to overclock both cards individually. Does the lone manual overclock tab effect both cards? Or do you need to disable SLI, and manually overclock each card individually to the same speeds?
This weekend i'm finnaly going to have a chance to get to work on a series of projects, and since i think (hopefully) that some of you may find them interesting, i thought that i would start a worklog.
the "main" project is going to be an external enclosure for my watercooling setup. The...
I got a EK chipset waterblock a few weeks ago, but only tonight had a chance to install it. It's on the rig in my signature. I'm waiting for my digicam's batteries to charge, so i'll add some pictures tomorrow. I have a kinda goofy setup right now because in the next couple of weeks i'm going...
I"ve got a couple of quick questions regarding shrouds, as i'm working on an external watercooling setup. It's my understanding that a shroud is used to basically put a little bit of distance between your fan and rad to improve airflow when your using a push configuration. How much space is...
Ok, it's a long story but i've ended up with two of the new Thermochill PA120.3 rads, it sucks, i know :) . I was buying the first one to use in an external watercooling box, but now that i've got two to play with, i think i'm going to set up two loops. One that will cool two 7800GTX's(via...
I've got a SLI 7800GTX setup and am now working on putting a 6" LCD screen onto an external watercooling box. If i were to put a Geforce MX4000 PCI video card in my rig (just to display system information on the 6" LCD), would run into any conflicts? I've seen plenty of people with multiple...
It appears that all the waterblocks that will fit on a DFI LP SLI-DR are from oversees (mainly Germany). Is there anywhere in the US that carries these products? What would the shipping costs be to have them sent across the pond? Any recommended vendors? I'm thinking about a dual loop system...
Just curious as to what makes the ThermoChill radiators so expensive? Do they really dissapate heat that much better compared to the Swiftech or Black Ice line of Rads?
Looking for recommendations for a PCI graphics card (note, NOT PCI-E) that will be used only for a 6" LCD that i'm going to incorporate into a mod i'm working on. All video for my main monitor is going to be handeled by a 7800GTX SLI setup. Obviously, i'm not looking for anything special here...
I've read a few posts recently where people have mentioned that they are using dual pumps. Some people seem to have them as a safety measure in case one pump fails, while others seem to have them just for giggles. Are they're any downfalls to adding a second pump to your loop?
My reason for...
i'm in the process of planning out a fairly extensive project. It's basically going to be an external box to house watercooling equipment that is going to sit on top of my case. Since i'm going to be modding this myself, i figured that i would have the unit serve a couple of other purposes...
I just installed the Evercool VC-RE fan as a replacement for the NB fan on my DFI LanParty SLI-DR board. The stock fan was just too loud for me, and as i read on a couple of forums that it would fit, i figured i would give it a go. It was a little bit of a tight fit getting the pushpins to...
